There’s a lot you can take from this cutscene, but there is something I want to point out. Garcian does a lot to appear normal and disassociate himself from his line of profession. Unlike all the other Smiths, he keeps his weapon (silenced to reduce suspicion) hidden from view until he draws it. In their critical hit lines, most of the Smiths express pleasure in killing, and even though Kevin doesn’t say anything, he seems to be okay with it. But Garcian’s critical hit line is more like a quiet expression of displeasure. He makes it clear each time you go to him on the TV, he’s not a killer, he’s a cleaner. You technically never have to select him at all. But here, that veil has been broken, his pure white suit stained with blood, and he is forced to accept the truth of who he is. He is Emir Parkreiner, a psychopath who went on a blood fueled rampage all those years ago. An agent of Japan who killed the Smith syndicate, and took on their identities.

The silent, taciturn killer with a fondness for blades over bullets proves himself to be a valuable member of the Killer7. Ever wonder how the Smiths can slip by nearly every high tech security system in the country? Kevin is the answer. With Kevin comes the ultimate disguise…becoming invisible. What was once was a man can turn to air before your very eyes, and the last thing you’ll see is the blood spilling from your throat. As for Kevin’s personal life, nothing is known for sure. Certain documents state that he was betrayed by his former lover in Miami and in turn was forced to kill the man he loved. Rumors state that the reason Kevin never speaks even a whisper is because the sound of his voice can bring forth the gods, but of course this is untrue…we think. Kevin seemingly has no relationship with the rest of the Syndicate, likely due to his aforementioned muteness. He keeps his distance from Dan, sharing with the rest of the syndicate a strong dislike for the Hellion. On the other hand he is a fan of the main event, Mask de Smith. The rest of the Smiths are a grey blur however, seeming to have no opinion of them whatsoever. There is reason to believe he has a strong connection with Harman Smith…though once again all rumors. He is always slouched due to a strong fear of heights. His height would likely rival Garcian and Mask’s height if not for his posture. Strangely curls into the fetal position upon “death”… Always falls victim to the “No Shirt, No Service” rule. He is British, and aged in his early thirties. (Some information provided is non-canon)
