Thanks for this video and congrats on your accomplishments (and new camera! 🤣) I had VSG last year and while I surely did lose weight, the surgery doesn’t change anything about our bad habits, addictions or feelings we are repressing! I have to stay on top of my good habits on a daily basis so I can one day reach my goals and so I never slip back to where I came from!!! 🫶🏽

If you consume less than 1200 calories mire than 3 days in a row; your body will go into fight/flight mode and start holding onto your calories consumed because your brain thinks you're starving.

Wow great job mama. I couldn't bare the pain unfortunately. I planned a natural though . My labor started at 9pm with contractions coming every minute right off the bat. At 3am I got in my tub at home and decided I was getting the epidural. I got the hospital at a 2cm dialated to a 6 then got the epidural. Had my son at 4:32pm after only 45 mins of pushing!!!!!!

I love that you shared your story Izzy! As an auntie, I'm not having kids. But literally watching this and your motherhood journey helps me educate myself on how to look out for mom before and after the baby is here. Like for example. If I'm invited into the labor room, a sacred space, how do I make sure I'm being supportive? Or how can I advocate for what she wants? As more and more of my cousins and friends become moms, I'm always trying to figure out how to look out for my peeps making care packages, making sure mom has time for herself and so forth. Mom's self care and mental health is important to me. Thank you for giving an auntie the best education like ever. I won't comment all the time, but I will have my pen taking notes going hmmm, how can I be helpful to mom if it were me in this scenario? I wish they had classes in school but this is the next best thing.
