Question I often see the term overuse injury especially in athletes and I wondered I was a trained dancer for 14 years as a child and now in my middle age years I have remained active etc but currently fighting these type pain and symptoms can something like overuse in childhood affect my muscles now..?

I have had pain at my deltoid tuberosity for many years. Recently had shoulder surgery and, during physical therapy, it really became more pronounced when trying to do all of the range of motion exercises with the therapist. During my next follow up appointment with the orthopedic surgeon, I will bring this up with him. Do you know if there are any treatments? Surgery? I am aware of the conservative treatments such as heat, NSAIDs, etc. but, in my case, I think I’ve already tried all of those things over the years.
