Steve Carr here. I fly several different models. My favorite is the Typhoon H Plus. I also have several H models, the H920, H520 and Q500. My passion is doing aerial videos. I hope you can enjoy some of them. I used to fly a DJI Phantom, but most of my videos are done with Yuneec because I tend to get smoother video results and Yuneec copters are very quiet. I also have several Parrot aircraft: Anafi, Disco and Bebop 2.

Testing in adverse conditions. Freezing fog at 22 deg F. Original shot at 1080p/48fps. Rendered at 1080p/24fps. No color correction or any adjustments to exposure/contrast.
High Standard Failure to load

This new magazine would not load a round. This video shows the steps I made to correct the problem. After I made this video I test fired the pistol and it worked 80% of the time. I took it back and removed another .020" from the lip on the magazine. The next test fire was 100% on the next 50 rounds.

A few tips on tear down and reassembly of the HTA MBS 95 NOTE: I failed to mention this during assembly of the top half. Make sure the charging handle spring is compressed and held in place by the slot in the plastic housing. Check the instruction manual for the proper position.

Thank you. It's a challenge using just a cell phone on a stand. I'm sure you've seen plenty of videos that are fuzzy and impossible to see any detail. That's what I'm trying to avoid.

i am unable to update to new firmware on my H. it says update failed, aircraft type can't retrieve. any suggestion. I did install the 1.28v to flash. also, The H doesn't show up in the binding.

Very good job. I'm tuning new mags for an old sport king now. Decided to take a look and see what other people had found. I've trimmed 2 exactly the same way because of the lips being too long to feed. With these guns not having a feed ramp actually leading into the chamber they are finicky as all get out..

Dude thank you so much. Just purchased this shotgun strictly for home defense and I wanted to make sure everything was tight and lubed after bringing her home. How has this shotgun been working for you ? I’ve read mixed reviews so far…
At first I couldn't get it to cycle properly. I discovered it works best with shells rated at 1250-1300 fps. After that I didn't have any more problems and it cycles reliably now.
I was thinking of polishing the trigger components. Does this shotgun have trigger spring I can try to replace like a mil spec ar15 does? I know it’s hard to get a smooth crisp break with the long trigger bar. Wondering if I can lighten it up at all. Great and informative video, thanks!
I have not done any work on the trigger so I can't give you an answer. Maybe there is a video showing what others have done.

The hammer is a good idea but all's I've ever done, I like to swap back and forth over the years, is just run a screwdriver through the Mlok. It never causes damage.
That may work well in many cases. However, the fit of individual kits seems to vary. Some are much tighter than others. This one was very tight. It's possible that some judicious sanding on fitment joints could help but also risky.

Aren't you concerned about scratching up the internals of the gun, handfeeding with a hardened steel screwdrinver? Could use a wooden stick or something...😊
You make a good point. I'm glad to report I didn't see any scratches. But a plastic tool might work just as well.

You will need to replace the main board if it is not powering all the motors.

Can a st16 work on a h plus??
The H Plus uses an improved controller with a better processor and more memory because the flight control app uses more resources. Go to www.yuneecpilots.com and post your question. You will find a huge amount of help and answers.

The IR values coming out from this tester are all wrong, 2 m ohms does not make sense. I have one and values are also false. Don't trust this IR measument

i have the J3 switch is not working right i cannot get a good test on it. all other switches work ok i just order tuner spray, do you think that will work, if i sprayed some in the hole on the back of the controller, just the J3 forward and back stick.
You can get electrical contact cleaner in the automotive section at Walmart. Use products that are listed as Safe for Plastic and Leaves no Residue. If you cannot get the spray to work, you will need to open the controller and unplug the connector on J3. That is generally the point of oxidation. Plug it back in and test the stick before putting the screws back in. In rare circumstances the stick may be bad.
@@folepi22_SteveC all fixed i use BW-100 electronic contact cleaner, i removed the rubber plug in the back of the controller and sprayed on the J3 stick pod ,all set now test ok..

Adding the riser is a brilliant idea. Getting the top separated from the bottom is painful.
I recall it scraped my hand when I first installed it. And I was wondering how I shall dissemble it, and could help laugh out aloud. Yep, sure is a good method to remove it. I have a vertical grip installed, so I am hearing that thing.
Dear sir I bought a second st16 for the yuneec h520 but I can't connect it to the h520 drone while it works correctly for team mode. Could you tell me the correct procedure to connect it to the drone? I have installed the software several times with EU updates but I have not obtained any results, the LEDs of the drone flash yellow but I cannot connect it thank you

A truly vintage cat seen for the first time in many years. Went to the factory in the Fall of 1949 with my sister’s husband who was doing snow surveys in the Cascades to look over a Snocat owned by the DOA: Soil Conservation Service. Those cats were single pair of tracks with front ski steering. Good lord, that was 74 years ago.
I suspect that was a Tucker Snocat Torpedo.

@@folepi22_SteveC all i wanted to do is see if i can fix the horizon issue that i had, I was trying this and that, did i get it all messed up then i did a factory restore then all went bad it looks ok now going to do a test flight when it ever stops raining, going to do a compass calibration before the test flight.
@@steve-and-drones If your C23 has a tilted horizon, there is no calibration that will fix it. The only method I've seen that works is shimming on side of the IMU board. And that is a very tricky procedure. It''s very easy to end with a completely broken camera.

Yes. I've use that often.
As a kid I stayed w my grandparents in the summer in ramsay..we'd walk down to the open pit and play in that water, catching tadpoles and exploring. Poor grandma, its Rust in that water and she had to try to get those stains out. I didnt understand at the time but they both used to warn me to never cross any of the downed chainlink fencing that surrounded the old mines. Gives me chills now to think we kids could have fallen down a sinkhole/shaft and never been found. Luckily I was a huge chicken 🐤

That must of Fkd up the hawk, that's a carbon fiber shaft and not easily broken even in a crash! So glad the 5 motor function brought you home safely! I just rebuilt one of these and it's good to know that it actually can fly with 5 rotors.
Is there a glue you recommend for the rubber grips when reassembling everything?
Yuneec used a thin double sided tape. Usually there is enough left to just put the rubber back on. Once the rubber tabs are pressed into the holes they grips are not going to fall off. It helps to twist the grips when installing the tabs into the holes to get them to seat completely. If the grips don't lay flat on the controller, the tabs aren't completely seated. You can use a drop of soapy water to help slip them into the holes.
That does not look like a Tenergy. A Tenergy clearly has its logo on there and is black. Mine is 'maximalpower' and looks like yours. However, my IR function is useless. Shows .01 milliohms for everything check no matter what. Looks like the sweatshop threw me under the bus again.
