Great video for anyone doing this job. Two things I recommend is going from top is best if you haven't already replaced the heater pipe. And second is you dont need to remove throttle body just the hoses and connectors.

Thank you for a most informative video. I have the exact same problem that you solved with your well-illustrated instructions. It's easy to see how either gimble can be damaged by a vertical force coming directly down on the gimbal stick. I had tried doing a gimbal calibration using an iPad Mini, but every attampt was unsuccessful for some reason. But before giving up, I decided to try again with my Android Motorola smart phone, and was able to get into the gimbal calibration tool. The Yaw control was constantly fluctuating, just like your's had done. Eventually, the Yaw percentages settled at 0% and I was able to give the P4P a 15 minute check flight. It ended up auto landing when the flight battery percentage got down to 20%. I did some checking on the internet for new replacement P4P gimbals and found only one place that had them: Cloud City Drones in Warwick, RI (cloudcitydrones.com). Their price was $49.99 with free shipping. My controller is over 10 years old, and knowing that plastic parts eventually fail, I decided I would replace both of them while I had the case open. I also saw on the internet that AliExpress has a good supply of used P4P gimbals for sale at $5.28 each with an additional $4.51 for shipping. But I decided I would go with new OEM parts from Cloud City. Thanks again for your valuable information, especially how to remove the back of the case.

It appears that you are missing one of the brass washers. The one that goes on the locking tab side of the blade, is bent in order to allow the locking tab to move.

Just replaced the starter motor in an 09 CRV. This video made the entire job much quicker. The only thing I will add is that if you get a second person to help, you can wiggle the intake manifold assembly completely out towards the driver side with your helper pulling the upper radiator hose out of the way. My son and I did it no problem and did not have to bend the hood support rod bracket or remove the radiator hose. We wiggled it out less than a minute. Nice job on the video for us DIYers.

Nice video. But I think you need replace Heater Pipe too. My CRV 2007 142 000 k have leaking from that stupid pipe. I was replaced starter Two Years before from bottom, but is a Better Idea to replace from top. If I done that Pipe same time whit Starter, don't have that stupid problem today .. More ease , and you can change Heater Pipe, check Thermostat, maybe replace, and Thermostat Housing Same TIME ... You can see that rusty pipe 19. 02 video..

Great video! I have the exact same job ahead of me. I’ve watched several videos and yours is by far the best! I anticipate also having problems with the bracket bolt you couldn’t get off, as I already was under there to loosen the lower one, but upper nut is seized. Did you disconnect the wire loom clip after unbolting the manifold, or from below? That looks like a PITA. Other mechanics have told me that’s the worst part of the job. I’ll definitely replace from above - cannot imagine doing it from below, especially without a lift! I appreciate the extra detail you provided, as I have intermediate mechanic skills.

Ok what I found out the hard way is your frount screw is to loose and to tight will make it hard to get the blade out take the screw out put Loctite on it blue keep turning it in and out until you like how your blade comes out and locks in

Everyone is saying it's easier from the bottom. May be true if you don't have any neck/back issues or work on a lift. I just replaced one from the bottom and watching the video, I'd say it's a tie. But, that coolant pipe will be rusty and you should coat it with some POR or Fluid Film or something to extend it's life.

The right front only has an ABS wheel speed sensor if the truck is equiped with 4 wheel ABS. If your truck only has RWAL then the sensor is not needed in the right front. They use a sensor on the left front for electronic throttle control and for a redundent speed signal for the engine controller.
