Wishing for a Sail by Dig Circus (Caitlin's Way FULL Theme Song)
It seems that no one has uploaded this song into UA-cam. Is it because it is so damn difficult to find? That's the only possible answer I can think of. It took me ages to get a copy of this song; lots of looking and false downloading. I was starting to get really pissed off. Some people will recognize the song from a TV show called Caitlin's Way, it was the title music. Anyway, I hope you enjoy. I may post a download link one of these days when I'm not busy.

Watched Caitlin's Way when I was 4/5 on Nick but didnt understand it until I was a tad bit older. Overall, this song was what stuck with me though and it holds a different meaning now that I'm older, too. Thank you, Larry. You found your sail and you've sailed right outta here. ❤ Rest in peace.

I'm not so sure about that. The show still had a fairly 90s aesthetic to it for something from the early 2000s, and the song is from 1993, so as much as we can appreciate the show, you'd have to admit that seemed quite dated for its time. While this show tended to have darker leanings and was more nuanced, I can't imagine this translating well today. We tend to jump on the 'woke' train, which involves spelling out and oversimplifying topics that are otherwise heavy. At least with this show, there was still enough room for imagination, whereas nowadays, these kinds of shows tend to spoonfeed you everything, and leave little room for genuine conversation.

Just heard that Larry Grimes, who sang this song passed away 2 weeks ago. Very sad indeed. Had the voice of an angel, and a great mind for putting a song together.He had a pretty troubled life, but at his core was a great guy. I'll miss him, rest in peace.
Because I hung out with him for years and still hang out with many of the friends he grew up with. I missed the funeral because I found out weeks afterwards. :(

yep, Larry's passed :-(. There's a small article here chuckbastie.blogspot.ca/2014/10/the-passing-of-high-school-hero.html but beyond that i've never found much about him on the web... Hope he's in a better place now.

I have been looking for this song for such a long time, not because I particularly liked it, but because of the pronunciation of the last part, I never really got the words, but it seemed to resonate in me for some reason. Someone even heard me mispronounce it once as I was lowly singing that part when I was in 3rd grade. Glad I finally found where that song came from, took me years
