We remodeled our kitchen 3 years ago now and we still need to finish painting our hallway, but that leads upstairs, a HUGE wall, the landing, etc.!! Pretty big undertaking! That's because the black bowl is wider, and the dough can spread out, so it's smoother, the dough in the narrower bowl would have to rise up to smooth out, but it's not strong enough to do that at this stage

Question, why not put the house on a basement? All of your utilities like furnace and water heater could be down there.

I think it’s the color. The other allows light through and the black does not. The yeast thrive better in warm dark environments.

It is how the bowl is shaped the bowl stretches it as it reshapes itself to the bowl.

Looks phenomenal! I'm watching and drooling! LOL! Are the bowls different plastics? Maybe the green bowl is more porous and the black is smoother? The black bowl also looks more open/wide, like it has more room, it's a little shallower than the green. I obviously don't make bread, yet, but just upon observation! I have no clue if any of that would even matter! Can you get a duplicate bowl of the black one? I'm so tempted to start this, you make it look so fun and easy!!

Maybe it’s the diameter of the bowl? I don’t bake bread, but maybe the dough reacts differently when it’s thinner because of the bigger bowl?
