I just installed a flushed mounted cigarette lighter charger and didn’t have to do half this stuff. My little door closes as well.

Meh, it will work probably for a while, it’s the shift forks getting stuck is the main problem. Trans needs to be pulled and shift forks, bearing and clutch need replaced, this is a quick fix and god help whoever buys this car.

On a road trip 3 hrs from home on the highway my revs shot up almost to redlining i pulled off the highway took it to a shop and was told shift actuators, actually worked fine for 2-3 days and made it home.. tryong this before xhanging them..

Actually these transmission are horrible, what people haven't noted is that they are normally starting to go into limp mode at 100mph when travelling long journey.

What a horrible design. Way to go gm… My cts coupe ac stopped working dealer charged me 250 for ac service . It didn’t work the ac button light goes off while sitting still and gets super hot . Then I noticed my temp going above 220. 2 days late the temp maxes out so I called a couple car repair shops and none of them want anything to do with changing the thermostat. The clutch fan kicks In and runs . So now I’m going to fix it myself . Hope this is the issue . Not many videos on this car with over heating issues Thank you for your video

Why does nobody ever mention critters, mice and rodents making nests up in your vents and engine. That causes AC to stink too.

THANK YOU!!!! Please notify the Ford dealerships. I have had this transmission rebuilt twice at Ford. First time at 90,000 miles I had to pay because I have a rebuilt title and second time was within a year of their two year warranty. It started to shutter again at 180,000 miles and I found your video. I just performed the procedure and it is running better than ever! Thank you again

You've probably replaced it by now, but that whistle you hear when first starting after replacement is your PCV system. Man oh man. Awesome video!

Did you get all the dirty fluid out of the torque converter or just leave it in with the new fluid? I have a 2018 S model. It's white just like yours. Hope it's the same procedure. I got over 40K on it so I will have to do one of these soon. I just had a front wheel bearing fail on it.

Very good wire explanation and good idea.. I wired mine to trailer plug and kept getting the trailer disconnected and trailer bulb error so I took it off.. until now that you showed me how to install it... Thank you...

the cvt trans are trash engine is good but these trans go out at like 150k notice its a common thing. mine just started giving that slip feeling at 160k and basically needs 2 business days to get up to speed lol
