When I watch Instructors like Guro Chuck here, I always think the same thing. Now let me say this first. I consider myself one of the best of the best as far as teachers go. I may sound boastful but I am proud of what I have accomplished and I absolutely love teaching and empowering people. But man.. I teach fast I'm like a Bob cat on rocks..... You know what I mean. Lol When I see people that teach much slower than me and get their point across so gracefully still. I do admire that greatly... Anyway. Great instructor. You students listen up.

Giving props. I don't do that often these days and not because I don't want too. This is only the second video I have seen of this man. Don't know much about him.. But what I do know is he's an excellent instructor.. Students of him. Listen and learn.

With the knife in the ice pick grip, you're hooking the wrist?,why aren't you slicing the wrist? You'll be cutting blood vessels and tendons. I see bad habits being taught with these drills.

Sounds cute until you get into a real knife “fight” and you realize very quickly that even the “best”’will tell you, you’re gonna get sliced or stuck multiple times before you neutralize the threat. All this internet BS slowed down to show the mechanics and tactics is nonsense. You’re gonna get slit or poked, the real question is, “how will you respond when you’ve been exposed and how do your disarm your attacker”?
