She's wearing shorts outside, and I'm bundled up inside 😮 Weatherman says it's gonna be 13 tonight. Stay warm friends 👍
This video was actually made towards the end of Fall when it was still warm. Thank you, you as well! 😁
@SettlemyreNurseryValdese oh, well that explains it then. Today was the first time in 3 years I've worn pants as I'm literally always in shorts
Green giants are going to get 20 to 25 feet tall? Really? How can a nursery say this and expect people to purchase from you?
Yes, at full maturity, they are known to reach an average height of 20 to 25 feet tall in the Carolinas, with some even taller!
WHAT IS THE PREMEASUREMENT USED CENTER TO CENTER????? Is not in the video!
👍 b fellas. I’m not sure why my comment turned into this. My comment was supposed to say beautiful work fellas!
Thank you, much appreciated! 😁
I wish green giants only grew 8 to 10 feet wide. Do you have a reason you said that? Also, why did you cut the central leader off the tree? Sorry to be so negative.
It's any specific season to trim it.?
In the late Spring is the best time to trim this specific Ligustrum!
With the growth habit on these things I still don’t understand why commercial landscapers would stick 5 of these in a 12’ span next to a mini magnolia tree. My husband and I dug up two and moved them. In 4 years, they’ve completely covered the area they squeezed 5 into and grown taller than 6’ we have to prune them multiple times a season to keep them below the house numbers at the top of the front porch column.
Please Send me a Fat Albert Spruce for Christmas PLS would be a Christmas Miracle
I seen them rocks at homedepot they must be good
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌿🌳💚 Many people just level it off flat ruining the natural shape/texture/beauty. This is excellent; thank you 😍
Yes of course! 😊
👍🌷
That shape looks so much better than the hideous flat top trim that so many folks do…
What is the name of the trimmer you are using?
I'm trying to make a bonsai out of this plant so it's very helpful seeing this done on a larger scale.
What time of year should this be done?
For this specific variety of Ligustrum we recommend that people trim it up during the late spring.
I had a Spirea diseased with powdery mildew. In late Spring, I cut the thing all the way to the ground & replanted it in a sunnier spot. It grew back healthy & beautifully.
Pretty 😊
😁🌳
What type of plant is that
Which one?
Real questio from a still-learning home planter: Is this like trimming to put it away for the winter or something? That looked aggressive.
Certainly the most impressive inventory I have ever seen. The dedication and commitment is certainly the story here. Yall do such a fantastic job!!!!
I am so proud of how far you have come. I will have lived here 25 years in October. I remember driving by that empty land for years. Then I saw a trailer way to the back of the property and wondered what???: then come piles of mulch. And to look at it now I am quite sure Grandpa is so proud of the hard work you have put into your business. I certainly am proud. Thank you for helping out community grow both by friendship and green😅
Beautiful ❤
Oh my words are not enough to express the beauty…❤
Thank you so much. Our team is so committed to making our plants, selection and customer service top notch. ❤
This was very helpful! I did not not inow you have a UA-cam channel. I dubscribed!
Can I over trim? I have a very large ligustrum that I need to cut down about half its size but I do not want to kill or shock it.
You didn’t say how much water s in the can? One scoop of fertilizer to how much water?
1 Tablespoon of fertilizer per gallon of water! 👍
Beautiful!
I planted my first pugster in May. It seems healthy and it’s in a very heavy sun spot (10 hours a day) I keep it watered etc, but the buds are just now starting to grow. When is normal bloom time for this shrub?
How tall are these? Do you have baby blue spruces
isnt that wat it is lol
What time of the year do you cut it back?
Thanks
I like the spread out look
Quick summary: She needs long layers, never a blunt cut! 💕
In what season would you hard prune or tree form?
Would love to see a video on how to trim dwarf Golden Mop shrubs❤
*that aren’t so dwarf anymore & are growing bigger than my sunshine ligustrums 😢
How do you hard prune a Sunshine Ligustrum? I don’t not want a formal hedge look and mine are a year or two old. I had to trim them last year and formed them as a single shrub but want a more natural look. Please advise.
Best time to prune my sunshine ligustrum?
could this be hedged in a formal shape?
I put my plant in s bucket of water is that good for my mums
Mine is struggling
Wow Wonderful flowers ~ Thank you for good sharing LIKE 2 My friend, have a good relationship 😊
How many years I need to wait to have them this tall? Mine are two ft now Thanks
How does this do in wind? Your response would be greatly appreciated 😊⭐️
Oh I am so excited for them. They keep me happy through our winter months. I also just read that this is a good time to plant peonies for the Spring. Love them, smell so good. Also saw those hydrangeas. Got Heath planning my patio and am so ready for it. Things are finally happening for me after two long years of waiting. Thank you again for sending me my landscaping Angel. I do think God has put us together which makes the long wait worth it. Thanks again for all you do for us
What month should I stop pruning? Is it ok to prune in the middle of summer?
@SettlemyreNurseryValdese I have a large yard in the country, and really could care less about looks, though my small dogs might care about height it grows (think ankle biters not knee knockers) what gives the most coverage the fastestevery inch i dont have to mow once i get them established, the better. The blue rug you said wpuld reroot as it goes, so does that mean it should be more centrally located and let it growstretch out, or like set up and planted every say 5x5 foot. I dont mind a little cpst if it saves me from the heat and sun. This place has been in the family since my great grandfather in the 1880s and ive seen my dad endure too many slin cancer surgeries to spend any more time on a mower in this yard than i have to.
Blue rug would be great for full sun environments. And if you're in part sun to part shade, blue pacific. Thanks!
In the late fall won’t the new growth get frost bitten and turn brown?! I thought u were suppose to trim these March/April/May?
Great!🎉 Do you sale these juniper seeds ?
What kind of cutting shears are they?
