Replaced plugs wires coil cap rotor throttle position sensor map sensor n fuel pump switches over to different fuel tank its 02 502 mercury horizon boat will teach up to 5000rpm @ the dock but as soon as I try to go over 2000rpm under load I have twin motors n the other motor is fine any help would be greatly appreciated ty

What's your fuel consumption on this? I recently acquired one of these with twin Chrysler 273's and one engine wont spin faster than 2900rpm under load and our fuel consumption is somewhere around a gallon a mile give or take. This seems way too high for twin 273's. Also we get slight fuel out the exhuast on the port side (2900rpm) engine, any thoughts? Thanks.

Great video! I have twin 454 cu in that I'm replacing with twin mercruiser 3.0 L engines for max range and efficient cruising. I wish you could go into more detail on how to did it. For example, my mercruiser is a 1984, but the flywheel is not 14" so the starter possibly wont fit? Mercruisers made after 1991 do have a 14" flywheel and will fit correct?.....anyway, you got 26,000 viewers interested in your project! Good work!

Hi, We are looking at doing this on a Mercrusier 4.5 to go in a old classic wooden boat, any ideas on the bell housing/gearbox/drive options, we are going to use a 4.5ltr with the bravo option so the seawater pump is already fitted but need to sort out the gearbox, any advise is much welcomed!
