A quick run down on the short arm spinnerbait! I use it as an alternative approach to late summer and early fall shad based patterns! I throw this on a standard spinnerbait setup: medium fast casting rod with 15lb flourocarbon and a high speed reel.

A few thoughts about practicing for one of the bigger kayak tournaments that’s coming up this fall

Fished the 7th Lacombe open Things didn't go exactly as planned, but I did catch a limit and a solid kicker.

Second pre-fish day on Bayou Lacombe. More cast and comments than hooksets, but I am able to refine the game plan and get a cool early morning bite on film.
