@99corncob Thanks,I still play the tuba now,and still use the same instrument LOL, but i am just a student now, play the tuba is my best hobby,Although my parents don't suggest me to play it a lot,i still keep playing,when i can earn a lot of money by myself ,i will buy my own tuba which is adapted to me,by the way,Thanks your comment!!

I have seen this situation before with other players who had a similar problem. You should think about getting the lead pipe swapped to the other side if the horn belongs to you. The modification is not too expensive, and then you could play without reaching around the front of the horn and bending your wrist like this. Good luck, and keep playing.

I never saw anyone play a top-valve tuba left-handed like this. He seems to do all right with it, but it sure looks funny to me.
