That is absolutely gorgeous! I have their writing box and I absolutely LOVE it! Since I live in Canada and it’s a wood product, not including the foreign exchange difference, tax and shipping, I had to pay $75 duty when it was delivered. …almost half the cost of the writing box! It was and is sooo worth it! I use it daily and it’s perfection! I hope you enjoy your new item!

Don't mean to be rude but what sounded like a clock ticking in the background is very loud and really hard to listen to as it continues through the whole video. I know im particularly sensitive to that sort of thing but i thought id mention it as often others maybe as well which might affect your viewership. I really liked the video if it wasn't for the ticking.

I suppose this is a good moment to tell you - there isn’t any shimmer in Writer’s Blood, but it’s got a dark sheen to it. Do check out the Mountain of Ink article! I use it for all of my ink comparisons. Thank you for reviewing the Sandalwood - I’ve been trying to find a review that mentions the scent. I’ve been meaning to get my hands on a Talisman, but I’m torn between Dragon’s Blood and Sandalwood… Out of curiosity, does the Sandalwood smell like actual sandalwood? Or is it a different scent? Chemical reactions might have made a difference, and oils and resins tend to react, so that’s why I’m asking.

Lovely video Pam! Thought about getting that new green TWSBI but realized I’m in more of a bespoke/handmade pen mood these days. Got a Just Turnings pen delivered and can’t wait to get back home to open. As for Ink Flights, I have soooo many samples (have five 50 vial trays filled 😳) that I will buy only if I like the inks after they’ve been revealed AND they still have flights in stock. Very discerning I’m becoming 🤣

I’m so excited at how far you’ve gone down the “ink hole”. Yayyy! Saw the Delta Duna on Atlas but in the end decided not to get. That same Hongdian M2 has been in my Amazon cart for so long and the only reason I haven’t bought it yet is I still can’t decide which one I want to get, the brown, green or blue. Beginning to think now that I just need to get all considering I have 11 Jinhao pens 😂

Welcome to falling down the rabbit hole! I’ll be here to catch you when you land! What a beautiful watercolour book you created! I especially love the yellow flowers. How did you bind it without sewing? I haven’t made a notebook yet. That’s a great idea to use Arches paper, that way you’ll have a high quality product that’s portable. I _love_ Galen Leather’s pieces! They’re a true work of art! I have the writing desk along with the leather carrying strap. When I’m writing at coffee shops or the library etc., it’s a huge conversation starter for others who like fountain pens, journaling and painting as well. I’m sure you’ll meet lots of nice people on your adventures when you’re carrying around your travellers notebook case. 😊
