Hi, I just wanted to add a comment for the Jackstone stunt show obviously comment attend off for obvious reasons because of children, but I just wanted to say I was in that show, and played Cadet Barnaby and Cadet Eddie, when I was looking for myself I realised it was 2 or 3 different shows put together, but so glad you done it, as obviously cameras with camcorders back then, and no smart phones but just to let you know, I enjoyed it and it took me right back for when I was in it good stuff

The Governor General said it was a first for Canada to host the paralympics, but it's actually the second. First being in Toronto in the 70s
Toronto is in Canada. So I think what they said was true. Canada was the first to host the Paralympics in the 70’s.

For Winter yeah
First Winter Paralympics for Canada. Calgary didn't host in 1988 because they didn't have the infrastructure, so it was hosted instead by Innsbruck. It wasn't until 1992 that the chosen Olympic host city was required to also be able to host the Paralympics. Thus, Vancouver is the first Canadian host city to host both the Olympics and Paralympics simultaneously.

The Vancouver 2030 Olympic Bid were cancelled by Lisa Beare until then a current Tourism Minister Lana Popham and the BC Government were interested but didn’t notice that Vancouver is identified as a Rotating Olympic Winter City. I miss having these and it was a disappointing when parts of the 10th Anniversary of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games were shadowed under by COVID-19, but I hope to see it revive when I host my housewarming block party and it’s private, I look forward if we can have Miga, Quatchi and Sumi, The Vancouver 2010 Look of the Games and with the former CEO John Furlong and his wife who also worked for VANOC as a spokesperson Renee Smith-Valade also. I hope this reminds me and how I’m inspired by this! 🥰

I was in this parade. Not in the video though, was with scouts canada. Dont remember much aside from being annoyed with the slow start. We were standing there for so long, now i understand that it was because of the weird dance after the national anthem.
Suddenly the 2010s back then were a simpler time for the Winter Games.
