    Hi everyone, do you need to drain the oil from the engine first?

    • @Zyplauk

      No need to drain, the entire procedure is what you see in the video.

    Are you able to check the exhaust valve like this without removing the radiator completely?

    • @ISellSigals
      @ISellSigals 6 років тому

      I tried doing this today but found it almost impossible to get an alan key into the valve cover. It looked like I would have to take the side fairings and possibly the entire radiator out. Do you have any tips?

  • @dayward1

    The "caps" on the side of the crank case (the plugs are in the actual timing side of the case, called the timing cover) This is where the alternator and stator are located. The opposite side is the clutch cover. This is a good video. I've only owned Triumphs, and wanted to know if the rockers on these Hondas were adjustable. I've just acquired a CBR 150. They're the same. Cheers. Also, a good chisel or a sharpened tire tool will get the timing plugs out, especially if they've not been unscrewed for a number of years. The coin method works if the bike has been well looked after. Thanks for the video :)

  • @dayward1

    Valve cover...Remove the VALVE cover. The crankcase is the lower end; it holds the crank and clutch.

    first of all wonderfull job on the videos, I've seen the snorkel mod and the engine oil change and they are really good. Do you have something related to headlights, how to put the 2 lamps working for mediuma and long range, as the yamaha does, and another question related to xenon, the space after the headlight seems very narrow, and i don't think that it is possible to install a ballast over there. Do you know any sucessfull case? All the best. Ride safe.

  • @chaoslord2k2
    @chaoslord2k2 12 років тому

    you don't need to take apart the signal light, just put a long screwdriver in the housing and unscrew that last bolt even if the wiring is there there's plenty of space. It will save you at least 5 minutes!

  • @Endle185
    @Endle185 12 років тому

    This mod is not worth doing. Feel sorry for the guy who's bike isn't feeling the same now. These bikes are made so well that you don't want to change the gutts, just change plugs, filter e.t.c then you will have a beast. Iv changed my spark plug and bang it flys. Less is more?

    fuel will not leave the tank unless the diaphragm is perished. fuel exits the tank only under a vacuum control pipe from the inlet manifold.
