Um... Why could he sing the german version and not the Japanese? It's kind of... idk... easier to read then sing...
aeondolphin pronounciations, probably, and speed and grammar. German is much closer to english in pronounciation, speed, and grammar structure and is thus often easier for english speakers

it's pretty silly to think that. It would be really akward for him to try to sing in a bunch of languages that he mostly like don't speak and that have different sounds from english (he didn't sing in portuguese either, instead we got a really good version by Ed Motta)
I mean he sang the whole soundtrack of the movie in four other languages aside from English, and he himself admitted he never sang in another language before working on the Tarzan movie. I'd say that's already pretty great honestly.

I guess some teachers tell their students different things? I'm not sure why..my teacher told me that おしえて was teach/ tell, はなして was talk/speak/tell..and きかせて was the same as what you said. thanks for telling me what your teacher said as well :)
no, おしえて is only teach はなして is tell and きかせて is i will listen. atleast thats what suzuki-sensei taught me
