Ok no, I have three vivid memories of my first unintentional exposure to Vocaloid: In middle school band I remember playing Pomp and Circumstance all the time (and when I found the song while listening to a playlist of vocaloid songs, you can imagine my surprise at that realization). Two: I remember my sister having a poster of Hatsune Miku (I dont think she actually heard any of her songs either if she did it was from TikTok) and I remember saying "That is the kind of poster "Teenage Boys" would have in their rooms... needless to say, I am a teenage boy. And three, and most importantly, I played that Vs. Hatsune Miku mod for Friday Night Funkin'. (Keep in mind through all of those I had NO CLUE what Vocaloid was, and kind of DESPISED Anime.
