No, I didn't. I think it was the nearly £15 on cooking oil that I spent. Plus the bakery goods. Gone are the days you could pop to the shops and get a basket full of stuff for £20.00. Mx

@ yep just add however much rice you need then add a thumbnail of water measured from the surface of the rice. (Thumb tip to end of the nail). Too much water it won’t work.

@@marracheesean easy option is to grab organic in supermarkets. Obviously a bit more expensive than normal but cheaper then using milk and more all of the time. They aren’t allowed to add bovaer to the feed for cows that produce organic milk 👍

I use the scan and shop in store, it's great 👍. If you have the Sainsbury's app, it also tells you what your offers are that week xx

There are only 49 days till christmas 🎄 but I do think shops should wait till 1st November before putting christmas on the shelves. When I worked in a shop some 32 years ago, we had Xmas stock in the warehouse in early August, ready for September, but it was more gift sets as it was Superdrug. Shops these days are too keen to put out Autumn, Halloween, and Christmas together. Shops rush the seasons. You can pretty much guarantee Easter will be on the shelves on the 26th of December. That's a good question. Well, Marra is my first name, and the name Cheese 🧀 is my surname. I am afraid there is nothing more than that. Although with the surname, cheese 🧀 is certainly a headturner 😆 lol. And Marra is an unusual name, too. Xx

After I did my shop and got back to my car, I checked the App and it said I could get free fruit, so I popped back in as I was already there, I could choose from Apples, Bananas, Oranges, Melons etc but I thought the plums were a good thing to get as they were 1kg, and they are lovely even better as they were free xx
