So for anyone who wants to add this table to a google docs template, the approach I found works best is: - On your template mark where you want to place the table with a distinctive maker like ||TABLEONE|| - add a "Download a Document" module set to "Type" html to get your template. - Then have a "Create a document" module and in the content use a function like this: {{replace(toString(6.data); "&lt;&lt;|TABLEINSERT|&gt;&gt"; 5.tableHtml)}} 6.data is the output data from download a document, and 5.tableHtml is where i created the table by following this lad's instructions. if it's not working then look at the html for your sheet, you should see it in the input for the create a doc module. It's possible that in html your table marker looks different from what you put in the template, like mine here is: &lt;&lt;|TABLEINSERT|&gt;&gt , when in the document itself it's : <<|TABLEINSERT|>> Works like a charm.

Some very light relief on UA-cam. I had another uncomfortable second nights restless sleep with a horrible cold and woke at 5am. Fed the dogs, brought a cup of tea back to bed (yes, I’m British 🇬🇧) and started flicking through my UA-cam feed. Watched some news about the strikes at VW, by the way, the new van is the all electric ID Buzz. Then watched some Dave Ramsey and a very interesting video on trade tariffs with China 🇨🇳 😂 After all that, I checked my notifications and saw that this had been posted. In eager anticipation of yet another awesome tutorial video on automation, I puffed up my pillows and settled down to learn more about Make and AI 🤖 Well….that was a surprise 😂 How lovely to hear such inane ramblings first thing on a Friday morning. It’s not even light here yet and my spirits have been lifted. Just kicking back and chatting with your bestie 👍 For some constructive feedback I’d suggest that future podcasts have a “loose” subject that you ramble around in an unscripted format. Ohh…by the way. I did get to the end of the video. ❤ Good job…keeping it real. 👊

It would have be great if you used an example with multiple branches, as thats where the set variable module makes a difference (as oposed to your example which could have just been one straight line. It would be great to know how does it work with iterator runs? Do you set the variable to one execution or its still one cycle? How do you ensure that the values are reset for each run of the iterator and not carried over into the 'get variable' module ? Would you consider adding a video of more advanced example?
