Looking forward to the new class
Glad to have you here, the next class will review 4 new air dry clay. These are truly amazing!
Bro couldn't even show real images of the classes, that's all ai
@Cherrybats Hey, Vanessa here. Correct, as stated in the video, classes are coming soon. In the meantime, enjoy the multiple classes already posted, including the first air-dry clay review. Follow along for 4 new clay reviews, including "stone" clay that dried harder than ceramic. Thanks for watching
Thank you! Gosh I didn’t know what to do. This is my first time buying clay and this is my second try making a beautiful piece and it just keeps breaking
I'm glad I helped. It was completely frustrating for me as well. I'll be reviewing a few more air dry brands soon. The main one I want to try is still unavailable 😕 so soon, hopefully.
Thank you. Very interesting
Merci🌹
Thank you so much for this video!!!!!! Exactly what I was looking for- the air dry clay world is so confusing for beginners to ornament making. Glad I know which ones work and which ones to avoid:)

Nice! Can we see with the more complicated cutters you put back in the bag? Also, can you use regular clay (bisque then underglaze then glaze and fire) or would the finished product be too heavy to hang?
@KMaeRader Hey, thanks for watching. The AMACO clay is regular low fire clay. You can definitely glaze and fire again. If you think the ornaments are too heavy, simply roll the clay out thinner. As far as the other cookie cutters, I'm working on a video now for those. They make great ornaments for a Halloween tree or car fresheners!
Hi there! I have this green house. Im trying to figure out how to slow dry my pottery plates. Im having trouble with warping! Any ideas?
@skogenm1008 Sure. Slow drying plates is important to control warping. There are a few ways. You can definitely use this greenhouse. If you notice they are still drying too quickly, you can loosely wrap them in plastic film or a towel. Make a weight out of an old sock and fill it with fishtank gravel or even kittie litter (for short term use) once you can safely lay the weight on the plate without leaving a mark, do so, then cover. Place inside the greenhouse and zip it up. Do not run the heater. To further help with warping, always bisque fire plates on their side, standing up. I hope this helps.
@skogenm1008 I buy the cheap painters plastic at the dollar store. It's extremely thin and works great. So do dry cleaning bags.
@How-To_Pottery ok wonderful! So say make the plate on the wheel. Do I wait until it's leather hard and then put the weighted item in the middle of the plate then put in green house? Or cover with plastic? And how thick should I be making plates? I've also heard that making a foot on plates really helps as well? Thank you for your time
One time, I was drying my pottery on wood boards, and 3 days later, I came back. I unzipped it, and there was mold on the boards, and it smelled moldy as well. Should I use plaster?
@skogenm1008 As far as thickness goes, it depends on what kind and how large of plate. I use 2lbs when throwing a dinner plate. That leaves plenty for foot trimming. If you are using stoneware, I'd make the lip around 3/4. That will give you a nice size after drying. I put my weights on the plates right before leather hard in my case. If trimming a foot you need something under as well, like a piece of sock or a biscuit
Wow where can I get it?🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿
Cool 😮 keep it up
