@IthaquasBane Oh nice! I'll definitelly check it out. By the way, I could not help myself and rolled a ronin char. I am already at Day 14 and killed the first villain who happened to be my brother. We were both raised as orphans. What a story. These tables are so much fun to play with.

Yeah... 😥. Once a video series gets too low on #views and #likes, I normally make a decision to end it, since the time and effort aren't worth continuing. Saying that, I always try to keep the series long enough for a good story and so that viewers can get a good understanding of the game. 2D6 Dungeon and Notequest kept high numbers so those series lasted longer... and there are just too many great games to cover!! There are some older games that I wanted to have on the channel way back when I started, but still haven't managed to get them covered... 😟

@@IthaquasBane Legacy of Cthulhu is the first game I run from these series, but thanks to your Vampire videos, I made my first Vampire char last night, a not-so-dreadful Baital (the cunning ones). I used to play Tremere in VtM and this was the closest thing I could find to resemble to it.

@@Dimitris_Tsoum Like a lot of the most popular RPGs, I found VtM too much to keep up with (every month a new sourcebook/adventure/supplement). Another reason to love indie games!!

@@IthaquasBane it was challenging to say the least. I had a raid at day 3 and they teared down my shelter. I managed to relocate to the adjacent tile through an underground tunnel upgrade my initial shelter used to have (thank goodness). Second Shelter is thriving though :)

@@Dimitris_Tsoum Yeah those escape tunnels are very useful!

Thank you very much! I did make the larger tiles by printing out the original pdfs from the Brazilian creator's website and then gluing them onto mounting board. Use a marker on the edges and done!! Nice, big, sturdy tiles!!

If you really want a challenge have a look at London. Don't forget you can make your own maps, maybe adding some random or thematic effect to the map?

@@IthaquasBane I am rolling my first character as I type this message. I'll pick the city first thing first right after I get back from work tomorrow! London was my second best choice, coming right after Arkham (haven't checked what these two cities come with yet :P )

Phew!! Even during editing I wasn't 100% sure if the light was good enough! Good to hear! My 'helper' decided to bring over a dead bird just minutes after turning the camera off..... that would not have been good for the show hahaha 🤣

Thank you! This game is very different from most, and although not for everyone, I feel that variety is a strength of our hobby. Now to figure out how to get the 5e and 40k players to leave their 'safe space' and see what else the world has to offer!! 🤣🤣

Any scale that you can find suitable minis!! That is my honest answer. If you decide to go 15mm, you could change the distances from inches to centimetres, but to be honest even at that scale you could still use the standard inches system. I've seen other gamers play similar games using 6mm figures....... I have a ton of old 1/72 scale minis that I shall be using for some games in the future!! Oh, if you plan to play PvP against another player, make sure you use the same scale!

They are good for the viewer... maybe not so good for me!! 🧙‍♂ 🤣 Cheers for the kind words!!

I think for most of the game I kept that in mind, though near the end of tight games I tend to get excited and may have forgotten!!

Don't think I have covered anything by Perplexing Ruins yet, you may be thinking of another channel. Thanks for the heads-up, I shall have a look at Ikezu-ishi. Is it stand-alone or do I need to have the Cairn rules?

@IthaquasBane Hmm, you might be right... 🤔 Standalone, just based on Cairn, like many others. Solo Gaming Sheets (also by Perplexing Ruins) itself is a self-contained system-neutral sandbox-style game (or tool) on just 2 pages, and the creator of Ikezu-ishi (Serial Prizes) decided to convert his own Cairn-based game to it. Plain, quick and simple, all for free. I'm sure you'd fancy it.

ahhhhh so 1000 yen is approx 10 euros... ok so not so expensive for the MilkyShakey!! The author/designer has an info box on pg6 about Yen, which mentions:... "the international symbol is the Y with double bar ¥, which is seen most often in tourist areas. The written form is the 円 and is seen most often in local shops and markets less frequented by tourists..." very interesting! Oh and Takoyakis can be found here though they are normally marketed as "Takos" and found in various seafood combinations...... very yummy!!
