I couldn't remember the best gift I ever got but I remember the best gift ever given. My late husband and I have 8 children . Every day at lunch for a few weeks he recorded the 1st book in the chronicles of Narnia. He changed the names in the story to a few of our kids names. Thru the years they always loved hearing him read the books to them. I made little wardrobes which opened up into Narnia. I wasn't white finished with 8 of them Christmas morning. One teenage son asked what I was doing. I told him I was almost done making their presents. He said oh no a homemade present. Then came time to open their gift. That same teenage son actually cried. They all were thrilled to have a tape of their dad, Jack. A few years later their dad went home to be with the Lord and those little wardrobes with a tape of their dad is a priceless treasure.

The cornerstone also was the stone that was perfectly cut. Every measurement was exact. It's the stone all the other stones were to conform to and be measured by. Great video!

We all have a testimony that He wants us to share. God's grace is what qualifies us.

Great word! Use to think only good can come from good. But sometimes good can come from bad or what we see as bad at the time. Then, after we make it through the swamp of dispair, we call it our testimony!

When you measure it against eternity the earthly things are never as valuable as what they seem at that moment.

Jesus gave us the parables to teach us. The message is usually pretty clear as is. But youll find the more you read the Bible, the more understanding you'll get. Sometimes it depends on where we are in our walk and what He is telling us at that time. I believe the basic lesson in that one is forsaking all and seeking God. But if you think about it, its true either way
