We ended up getting some amazing swell in the Mentawais! The power in the waves over here is insane you guys! I wish we got footage of the dudes sitting further up the point, they were charging so hard. Plenty of reefs cuts and broken boards but Anneliese and I were very sensible and sat nice and wide on the big day (hence why I only caught 1 wave haha). Luckily the swell dropped and I was able to get plenty of waves to put in this video. We stayed at Solid Surf House just around the corner from Telescopes. Highly recommend staying with them if you want to surf Telescopes, Icelands, and Suicides right and left. Great food, beautiful resort, awesome crew running the place and ALOT of surfing.
