How Kanon's Setting & Structure Improve its Story
Kanon 06 is a series I've always loved, though at times that love has been overshadowed by its spectacular successor Clannad. In this video I discuss how my latest rewatch has helped reaffirm my love for Kanon, and given me new things to appreciate about its structure and wintry setting.

I really like Haruka and I feel she's very much underappreciated by the community - so I made this video compiling scenes from Season 1 of Hibike! Euphonium to highlight her qualities as a supportive friend and as a leader trying their best.
Mizore & Nozomi - Practice

A scene from early in the film Liz and The Blue Bird (Liz to Aoi Tori), in which Mizore and Nozomi share a moment together before the rest of the Concert Band arrive. A phenomenally directed scene, showcasing Mizore's struggle to express herself, and her intimate love for Nozomi.

晴香は香織のことを「あすか派のくせに～」と言うけど、この2人のやり取りって すごくいいよね。 要所要所でお互いがフォローし合ってて、深い絆を感じます。 香織が晴香の家にお見舞い？行ったシーンなんか最高✨

Hmm...Perhaps I'll have to make that? ;) I do genuinely have some ideas around a Haruka "video essay" that have been on the back-burner for a while though. Hopefully I'll be able to get around to it soon!
