This is a compilation of my walking journey of 2023. I walked from Atherton to Caernarvon and back, London (Battersea) to Dymchurch (Kent) and Fort William (Ben Nevis) to Fort Augustus (Loch Ness) and some walks around Inverness. Altogether I walked 555 miles in my spare time. I have done 6,502 miles since 2015. So this year I became to 6000milePostie.

Thank you Jean. Yes I have lots of memories. Although things don't always go according to plan on my walks, I do always cherish the memories and thank God for getting me back safely each time. That list is not a complete list of my walks, however, but it does give you an idea of what I have done.

Yes, the weather was a bit of a mixed bag over the ten days. Walking from Saltburn to Middlesbrough was quite hot, but coming back from my Barnard Castle to Darlington walk it got very cold. I had to wrap up whilst waiting for the train at Thornaby station. Hartlepool to Sunderland was quite drizzly and it was quite windy throughout the ten days as well.

Looks fabulous but you have to watch your step.
Fabulous a lovely artisan bread shop there too.Brought bread home for a neighbour too.Lovely ice cream parlour 😋😋 We did some good walks so much of that looked pretty scary.
