Welcome to the secondary channel of NJH Trains, trainspotting, and other bits and bobs will be expected. I don't force you to subscribe as it's up to your choice, unlike all those beggars out there that force you to unfortunately, I used to film with a Huawei Y7 but thankfully I made the switch to Samsung for a good reason in July 2024.

Barton Peveril College MRE 25/1/25 (4K 60fps)
On January 25th, I went to the Barton Peveril College MRE for some more model railway action as not many exhibitions have been running. What an MRE it was, as it had quite a couple of brilliant layouts, my favourite layout had to be The Spirit of the Shap!

Due to my school not having enough staff to teach during exam week (Week beginning January 27th), I had 3 days free, and so on the final free day which was Thursday, I went round to the Blue Bridge to see some local action, and boy was it! It was one after another passing by the Blue Bridge, probably one of the busiest days I've spent at the Blue Bridge.

January 18th saw the "Thumper" return to the south coast with a memorial tour so I went to Shawford to catch it, a couple of freight bits and bobs also ran. (I was joined by loads of spotters including @AirTaxiA370 ) R.I.P Mick Tester 1946-2024

After going to the Barton Peveril College MRE (video will be out eventually), I hopped over to Eastleigh to catch some Saturday bits and bobs with 50008 "Thunderer" making an appearance with a Mk3 refurbishment drag being the main reason for hopping over to Eastleigh as it was running around an hour early!

January 14th saw a prolonged evening session at Shawford which had no disappointment and saw a lot of interesting moves, and January 16th saw a small visit to Cosham to see a new sighting which was 66793.

January 12th saw the Micheldever area shut for engineering works and Voyagers on diversion, I took the opportunity to see what was going through and it was the usual diverts, normal traffic, and the visit of SITT making an appearance, overall, a not-too-bad session at Bedhampton.

January 6th was another inset day tagged on to the Christmas holidays, so I thought I'd spend an afternoon and evening at Shawford for some freight, which didn't disappoint, due to the frequent amount of freight, it's a shame that 56051 "Survival" failed as it would've been brilliant to see that leading with the Hinksey bound runner, at least it ran with a replacement that is 66850 "David Maidm...

On the last Monday of 2024, that being December 30th, I went out for an evening session around Hampshire, specifically Cosham and Eastleigh, with no disappointment in sight with a triple header engineers, 66701 on Hams Hall to Southampton Docks and 66770 "Darius Cheskin" returning to Hoo Junction being the main highlights. After the Christmas period, it was back to some spotting at the station that never sleeps, known as Eastleigh, which wasn't too bad of a session, with some freight on divert, a double-headed Freightliner 66 run on containers, and a new sighting of 66765 "Julie Garn" on a Wembley Terminal Complex to Southampton Docks run being the main highlights.

If some didn't know, I am also a truck spotter and go out on the odd occasion for truck spotting. Since it was the last day of term and I had an early finish, I thought I'd spend an afternoon at the Morrisons Mound, which didn't disappoint!
