Linux can be installed?? Lift up hinge provided?? Hows camera quality??
Great quick explanation thanks
You guys offer Linux as well?
Had hinges issue
Can you specialize in not using windows as the go to operating system? It's bloatware, we all know about it.

what do you think about p14s + desktop vs p1 + desktop assuming money is not a big gating factor? i currently have a yogo pro 9i which bugs down often (32gb ram) and too heavy.
@@petetroglodyte1860 Hey! Great question. So, the main reason why anyone should get a laptop over a desktop would be if you prioritize portability/mobility. If you want to be able to move your “main work” computer around, whether it be from office to office, or office to client), I would get a desktop replacement laptop. If you’re going to be mostly stationary and have a traditional office setup, desktop is always the better choice. The P14s gen 3 is a great choice for speed and is lightweight. But again, it depends on what you’re using it for. You mentioned your current laptop is too heavy, so the P1 might not be the best option as it is similar weight (although lighter) to your Yoga 9i. But of course the P1 is a better overall laptop in every regard specs wise. Let us know if you have any more questions!
It is good for coding ? For an engineering student
@@reeler6057 I would get something higher end for coding. Something with a dedicated gpu. I would look into thinkpad’s for coding, like the p15, p15s, etc.
how do you fell about the new p14s gen 5
@@reflectionrecon We haven’t gotten our hands on that unit, but if it’s similar to the gen 3, it should be great, as long as they kept the same build quality or improved upon it.
I love ThinkPad, cuz of it enhance lot's of characteristics like durability, black solid colour, power house etc , in my opinion ThinkPad+Linux is the best combo❤❤❤❤❤
For that price, ffs buy a used asus tuf

1000 dollors for a fucking stupid ass goofy aah laptop without nvidia GPU
just get a gaming laptop 💀
just get a second hand m1 macbook air, 10x better and half the price
Upgradable?
Laptop 17 juta mending beli komputer😂
What..?,
Lah,computer ko nak bawak ke hari2
But add another 100 and you can get an Air with an ARM chip? What makes this a compelling buy instead of an MB Air?
MacBooks are so bad beacuse MacOS.
Yeah for 8/256 lol it's not enough for 2024 and up
So what's the difference between L and E series? How do i choose between these 2?
@@sylvestersoh The E series is the most entry level ThinkPad, so if you’re on a budget and just need a laptop that works, the E series is a solid choice. The L series is mid tier, in between the E and T series. It has improved build quality and a little more security features, etc. First know what specs you’re looking for and customize both an E and L series on the Lenovo website, then compare prices.
Laptop sound quality it's good or not
What is price of this laptops
It's $799, but we've officially sold out except for 1 opened display unit in our showroom.
@Notebookshop whats the wh of the battery??
I believe they started using 16 by 10 ratio since the t14s gen 3 isn't it?
Got a Brand new ibuypower y60 gaming pc and I get one or multiple blue screens and crashes a day and I’ve had to force restart before because it has frozen multiple times Today I’ve gotten 2 blue screens with different stop codes and been logged out of steam and epic games and was Fortnite uninstalled not because I was hacked but because of whatever is happening to my pc This is my second Ibuypower pc because I had to send back the first one for different problems
That sounds horrible. Those issues are such a pain to deal with. Did you end up getting a pc that works?
@@Notebookshop a replacement is coning today
hmm my laptop is still running windows 8, and is from 2014 should i get a new laptop?
You should get a pc brudda
Upgrade it, Windows 8 sucks. Use Windows 10 on the new laptop and dont use Windows 11, Microsoft put too many bloatware there, If you still want Windows 11, Use tiny11.
@@JustProSL Windows is about to stop all support for Windows 10, forcing everyone to upgrade, so it’s best to prepare now and upgrade to Windows 11.
If your computer is still running fine with no issues or complaints, that’s fine! Just make sure you have adequate virus protection and are backing up all of your important files in the cloud or external hard drive. You never know when the laptop could give out which will cause you to lose everything not backed up. Microsoft doesn’t support anything older than windows 11 anymore (they are about to stop support for windows 10), so just be aware of that. No support usually means less security and compatibility. Windows should be up to date to keep up with all the changes in technology, whether used for good or against people by bad people.
how is the battery life of P41s?
It's good! Standard battery life of about 5-10 hours, depending on how you use it.
Can i get one for free..? Please...
I want lenovo thinkpad T480 do you have?
@@Vicky-dw7zj we currently do not carry that model
Lenovo? Hell no I have a 2020 Vivobook 14 from Asus, i5 10210u mx250 gpu. Battery life kind of sucks, used to last 6-7 hours now lasts 2-3. If i replaced it it'd be fine. The mx250 is better than the iris xe if you use asus gpu tweak or msi afterburner. The laptop was 650$, no touchscreen but I wanted a laptop. I heard microsoft's surface are pretty good but if framework sells laptops in your region and you want a laptop for years, get one. If you don't do anything that needs windows software or don't game and you've got a higher budget. Get a macbook... Preferably a macbook pro with the M series chip, even a refurbished one will do
“For only 999$”
Just buy a macbook
Better than Lenovo own commercials . Commercials should we like this .
I3 or i5
Good question! It has an i5! Here's the exact specs: Intel® Core™ i5-1335U
Singapore can buy?
Unfortunately we do not ship overseas.
@@Notebookshop ok thanks
E series is trash, they are just rebadged consumer machines. T or the P series will outlast the E or L machines.
'Promo sm' 👌
Installing Windows updates is sometimes catastrophic. It installs driver updates that might harm the system. I'd rather install driver updates from device OEM website.
So Gopher is this what you do when your not showing us how to Install mods to Bethesda Games??
What if it's not a lenovo laptop?
Same steps! Just check to see if your manufacturer has their own version of "vantage". for example asus has asus live update, msi has dragon center, dell has dell command, etc.
the video also says in the title that its meant for thinkpads. some thinkpads (like the x1 carbon that i own) already have vantage pre-installed, so it really just depends
Only
The first time you boot your ThinkPad you should use System Rescue CD and run the command shred /dev/nvme0n1 after that finishes you should install your favorite Linux distribution. I use Gentoo Linux.
😂
Great job guys , look forward to buying a laptop from you guys.
why should you decide for others? 'You don't always need the latest and greatest' ... so you decide that???😂
Sometimes customers forget they have the option to not always get the newest and assume they can’t afford anything, so we make the suggestion based on their specific needs/wants 👍 Thanks for watching!
Just bought the I9 and OLED version with a 16Gb RTX 3080 for 2000 Euro as open box. There's nothing on the market close to that bang for buck.
Most of the digital markets do not sell Thinkpad. Is it too expensive for ordinary people ?
It's probably more so due to the fact a lot of ThinkPad's are marketed towards business/professional/enterprise users. So a business will purchase in bulk directly from a vendor like us and we'd send them an invoice! We're unique in that we sell to both consumers and businesses. That being said, ThinkPad's are definitely great for both ordinary people and business professionals alike. We have ThinkPad's as low as $499! As you know, they can also be configured as high as $10k+
Wish there is someone like you in Singapore.
The Thinkpad T14/T14s Gen 5 and the P14s Gen 4 has similar specs. Would love to see a comparison
The main issue with the panel is a 1920x1200 max resolution with touch support. Going 3K removes multitouch, which is a PITA. For comparison Asus will ship their X13 at 2500x1600 with touch, so I don't get why Lenovo can't.
The P14s has a 10-point multi touch display!
In Europe you can't even choose a higher resolution than the 1920x1200..
As a Linux user, thinkpad has always been my #1 choice not only because its build quality but also the software compatibility, you can always expect it runs perfectly with Linux and the open source drivers. And, very nice video, like it!
Awesome! Which ThinkPad do you use currently?
@@Notebookshop I’ve been using x1 extreme gen 3 for 4 years with archlinux installed, previously I used L440 for 6 years in college and the first few years of working. They are both robust and awesome!
