About a year and a half. before that i worked on large stationary industrial equipment for 5 years so i had a lot of tools already. I think most first years wouldn’t have this much.
Nice collection. I have been doing the HDEM gig for too many years lol. Hoping to retire in less than five years. I look at my tool box now and wonder where it all came from. I keep buying tools even now lol. Best of luck with the new tool box.
Thanks man! I really appreciate it! I keep telling myself that I’m not going to buy more tools but then Proceed to “find a good deal”. Congrats on being close to retirement! After many hard years I’m sure it will be a nice change of pace. Was able to upgrade the box recently to a matco 4s box, Will try to post a new video soon. Thanks for the comment!
In regards to that tap chart, he has an awesome channel and the wife even got me a few of his shirts to wear. keep up the great work and learn all you can everyday. 😁
Im just getting into automotive shit, going to purchase my first tools tomorrow! Im 17 and just bought my first vehicle so the first thing I will be doing is an oil change.
Not sure if you knew this but the reason some impact sockets arent turned down all the way is because heavier sockets make more torque on impact wrenches, its been proven by someone on yt i could probably link the video if u wanted to see it
Maybe so, but id rather have the thin wall on those small sizes (5/16”-7/16”). The genius tool sockets have the thinner wall on the 7mm to 11mm and they work fine on a impact. I think if the bolt with a head that small is tight enough that the impact cant undo it it’s probably cross threaded anyways or going to shear off. Definitely can see the increased mass being handy on 1/2” drive and bigger stuff though.
will you be posting an updated tool cart/tools video? Enjoyed this one!
AVE tap chart I think . Great video well put together box !
Muito bom parabéns Tmj
Wow amazing! you'll becoming "double" journeyman soon (Industrial & HET) Keep posting video bud! Full support from fellow Albertan!
Nice tool set up. I'm a Heavy Equipment Apprentice as well here in Calgary.
Good setup! How long have you been working on heavy equipment?

Did you get both those Mac wrench sets for the price of one as listed in the latest flyer? I missed the deadline by a day.
Yeah i got them on the last flyer deal. I think with tax it was around $400 for both sets
