A 100k account is actually a 10k account. So when risking 1% on a 100k account, what you're actually doing is Risking 1000 dollars on a 10k account which is 10% risk. THAT'S GAMBLING!!! Risking 0.25% or lower is much better risk management. Remember these prop firms are designed for traders to fail.

Another great video from the funded brothers. My takeouts from this video are; 1.) As a trader, I should stop trying to make money fast because in trading; fast is slow and slow is fast. Instead, I should stop taking random trades and trade with an edge. 2.) My RRR should also be realistic, like 1:2 or 1:3. I should also be limiting my risks. 3.) I should trade with money I know I can risk and not trade with my last penny. This will result in emotional trades. I should also stick with an Account that I can be flexible with. 4.) I should focus on small consistent payouts, like 1 to 2% payouts. This will increase my chances of actually getting a payout. 5.) I should not add emotions to trading by looking at my P&L panel. 6.) Spend the money, make sure you are actually spending your payout. Don't invest all your payout back into the prop firm space. All these were my takeouts from today's videos. I have been in trading for 2 years and in those two years i haven't heard words that gave me hope more than yours. Thank you brother your words might change a lot for me, I have a strategy with the win rate higher than 70% and i have three problems one is using high risk to reward ratio from 1:5 to 1 to 1:7 and the other is over trading and the last one is not having daily loss limit which is the most important thing especially in prop trading where you could blow the entire account with over trading. we all know no matter how experienced you are, no matter how successful you are there will always be bad days and having an amount that you can afford to lose mentally and also that does not damage your account is very important in the bad days.
