is there a setting where you can make the mystery box drop the weapon with nebula camo?
Yes there is actually. Just build any gun in the create a class menu. Then you click on the specific build and at the bottom of the screen you should see an option to set that build as your zombies build. This means whatever attachments and camo you have set on that gun, that’s how it will spawn when you get it out of the box or off the wall!

That's odd. My saugs are maxed out at level 39 it's even got a gold camo and I don't have the akimbo option. I had the option before I prestiged now that I've prestiged twice already and got the levels back up it no longer gives me the option of the akimbo option. Like wtf man....
That’s super weird. Can’t think of why that would happen. Maybe it’s just a glitch
I've being doing this strategy to farm manglers for the special kills, except I find myself spawning a mix between bugs and manglers... I've noticed if you run to mangler spawns aka the church, outside the cemetery and in the the cemetery, the cars out front of the church, and bowling alley and the house opposite the bowling alley, I end the round with the mangler spawn if it doesn't work itl put you're next game into a bug round which isn't what you want really. It has just the right amount of zombies and a guaranteed mangler every round.
If you do get elemental pop use the augment that only sets off your selected ammo mod (cryo freeze is the way to go to avoid getting unnecessary kills.)

Im pretty sire you still get "Cryo-freeze" kills which steal from it. The only safe ammo mod is life mend without the attatchment that makes it do damage

The easiest way for the melee is definitively to use the Aether shroud field upgrade with the void sheath and extension augments! You can stay invisible for long enough to get the kills you need and if it’s not enough you can pair this with a decoy grenade allowing you to kill more without getting hit
