My friends came to visit from the US and we travelled to Sevilla, España and Porto, Portugal together! In Sevilla we visited the catedral and Real Alcazar, tasted the food of the region and saw a Flamenco show. In Porto we wandered the city, taking in the sites, toured the Duoro River by boat and ate and drank our way through the city. It was an amazing trip and I hope you enjoy this video capt...

Valencia and Barcelona | Year Abroad

During our long weekend in December a few friends and I decided to visit both Valencia and Barcelona. We were blessed with good weather in Valencia. But it wasn't warm enough to swim. We spent most of our days exploring the city and walking in and out of beautiful buildings. The food scene was great there and the Christmas decorations completed the holiday feel! In Barcelona we did a lot of wal...

Last weekend I braved the cold of Denmark and visited Copenhagen. The houses were stunning, the pastries were delicious and the hygge vibes were immaculate. I am officially in love with Copenhagen. Enjoy the moments I captured on video!

My friends and I went to Málaga for the weekend to escape the cold and rainy weather in Madrid. We got lucky with sunshine and 24C weather. The weekend consisted of tapas, exploring Málaga's historical sites and enjoying the Costa del sol!

thank you very helpful for an incoming freshman who's vegan
How are you
i work in middlebrook.
Really helpful. We really like Frontier also. Did you find it difficult to get the dorm you wanted? Is it possible to end up somewhere way across campus if you don’t want to? Entering fall 2023
Politics and what class😂
exactly what i wanted to know, thanks
i used to work at centennial hall dining hall
$10 a meal for a salad
im headed into my last year at the U and im going to be living at pioneer :) this was very informative tho thank you!
Do you have to have a roommate or can you be alone?
What are the dimensions of the dresser and closet?
is the shared bathroom clean? And, is there an AC?
The bathrooms are pretty clean or at least get cleaned daily. I think some of the dorms have AC but I don't know about Centennial in particular. You could call them and ask.
I was lucky and had a double as a single, which I don’t understand since there was a shortage! And I was a freshman at that time! (Late 90s)
do you remember your room number or position by any chance? i got a single at centennial late cuz of a housing accommodation for me from the DRC for a single and i got an interesting looking weirdo corner room in centen that seems to have a little door walkway (or whatever the little hallway leading from a room to a door is called) that the other singles dont seem to have and im excited to get a look at it! wondering if its an expanded single or smn 0,0
Yo I’m thinking of living in Superblock, but from what I have read it seems very cliquey... is it?
That's not the experience I had. I think once you find your friends, you're always welcome to find more. If anything, living on superblock was the best because you have a lot more potential friends to make :)
I’m thinking about transferring (from California) and I was wondering if your feelings about UMN has changed at all since this video.
My feelings have changed but positively. I'm a junior now living in an entirely different situation during covid time so it's hard to compare this video to now. I would still recommend the University of Minnesota to anyone, it's great here!
I'm from the future....I live in Pioneer right now haha. It's not two levels and it isn't good food...
What is your major in college?

Do you know where the kitchen is located? and is there a laundry room on every floor?
The kitchen is right by the lobby. There are small laundry rooms on each floor, and a big one in the basement.
so is this a quad?? and why dorm is this? i’m torn about doing a double for my freshman year or something like this :(
This was an apartment off campus. Not affiliated with with the U.
Jenna Hougen oh okay got it! probably way out of my affordability then lol
I had a single in Centennial 40 years ago and it looks just the same. I mean that in a good way. My grandfather built me bookcases especially to fit in the quirky shaped room I got, still have them. I loved Centennial. Good luck to all the Centennial students this year, I hope somehow you have as good an experience there as I did many years ago.
the gopher express looks just like it did in 2007
What size rug did you have? Not sure how big the room will be so it’s hard to know what size to get.
I think it was 5x7!
I really hope I can get into UMN next year , I’ve always wanted to go there and live in Minnesota ( I live in Maryland)
I live in Minnesota and my opinion I would rather live somewhere else I don’t really like it here but hey you do you.
How are the bathrooms to you? Coming in the fall 🤞🏼
They weren't bad at all! 3 or 4 bathroom stalls, 10 sinks and mirrors and 4 shower stalls was pretty standard for each bathroom. There was 1 bathroom per hallway too so they were never too crowded or dirty. They're cleaned everyday too.
Hey your personality are so positive how is Instagram name
thank u for sharing this video,I used to be an international student at umn, I was graduated in 2013,then I came back to China, really missed the time spend in umn, the super nice people, the food, the weather and appreciate for ur sharing!(^з^)-☆
just found your channel and subbed!! 💛 im also a college youtuber, hope we can support eachother 🤗💖💖💋
Nostalgia... How are you Frontier Hall? my very first 'home- away- from home' back in 2014. Do they still have the Bio House community? Every single one of them was nice to me and gave me unforgettable memories.
What’s her major
I'm a Strategic Communications major with a minor in Spanish Studies
who's that cutie at 2:24 👀
love the content!
how do they level the floors? Like I got assigned to level E but idk which level that is?
I'm guessing level E would be the equivalent to level 5. I don't remember the floors having letter names so I could be wrong if this is something new.
Jenna Hougen it meant the east side 😂😂 sorry I just found out. Thanks tho! Can’t wait for the U this fall!!
I am an incoming freshman for this fall. It’s been super helpful! Thank you so much for this video!<3
thank u for this video! im going to be a freshman at umn this fall and am vegan so it's great to see what options are available
If I had a bucket list for the summer the top two things would be to get a job and to get my drivers license.
Sanford...make one for Sanford
I'm not on campus for the summer. But maybe when school is in session this fall I can!
is their any single dorm?
There are single rooms in Frontier. Every residence hall on campus offers single rooms. Centennial has the most.
Are you apart of the Taylor LLC?
nope! I'm not part of an LLC but I know they are great opportunities for making connections freshman year!
why didnt you go to sanford!?! It is the best one!
i couldn't make it there in time for the video upload :(
Would you say the FlexDine is worth it?? And are the to-go containers from dining halls good if your in a rush? This video was really interesting especially for someone who hasn’t gotten to see inside the dining halls! (I’ll be a incoming freshman next year :) - and I’m also lactose intolerant rip)
I think flexdine is definitely worth it! I use flex dine all the time when I want food not from the dining halls. I also use it at starbucks all the time. You can also use real money at all places that accept flexdine so if it's not for you, there are other options. I love using the to-go containers, especially when I'm in a rush bc I can get food for later in the day when I know I won't have time to get it later. Thanks for watching my videos! I'm so glad they are helpful.
Great video! I can't wait to go to UMN in the fall!
Great tips! I’ve already tried some of your ideas from previous videos and I’ve found a great roommate and made quite a few friends! Don’t know if I could have done it without your tips!!😄💕💕 Also, how did you find people to move into an apartment with? Is your roommate moving in or are they friends from other places?
This makes me so happy! I'm so glad my videos have made a difference to you and that you are getting ready for a GREAT experience at the U!!
this is so cute I just subscribed to your channel I loved watching how you do your makeup !! I hope we can support each other xxx
Your channel is beautiful! Subbed!
Can we talk ? I have many questions for a family member for Fall 2019 🍁
You're welcome to leave any questions you have in the comment section and I will answer to the best of my abilities!
These are so awesome! I'll be a freshman in the fall- would you be able to film 17th?
I'm glad you enjoyed! I'm hoping to get a tour of 17th soon!
Jeez the dorm looks amazing!!! Just subbed!!!
As an incoming exchange student for fall 2019, I really need videos like this. Thanks! :)
I love this! Being a college student it's so fun to watch these types of videos! Subbed! I actually make college videos too and it's nice to come around to see other college youtubers too haha!
Thank you so much for posting this!! I’m going to the U next fall and I cannot find any videos relating to their dorms:/
Glad I could help! I'll try to get a tour of almost every dorm on campus before the year is over!
Loved this video! I’m an incoming freshman in 2019 and my first choice hall was Frontier, SUPER helpful. New subscriber💕💕
Yay I'm so glad this video could be of help! I remember trying to look up dorm tour videos of Frontier before my freshman year and nothing came up. Let me know what other videos you would like to see about the U! That would be super helpful to me. I'm also happy to answer any questions you have about the U.
Jenna Hougen Id love to hear about life in general. I’m from LA so I’m really excited/nervous about moving so far from home. How did you make friends? And what would you recommend to students who aren’t from the area on how to meet new people? I’d also love to hear about classes and things academically. Also, is it hard to get from class to class? I know it’s a huge campus but did you have trouble getting to and from classes and other events? I’d love to hear your input!
omg same😬😁😁
