@GiselleWinarko In transformers prime he wears High heels, in animimated he literally has a female version of himself that is just a fragment of his own personality. In G1 Starscream also has a higher, softer voice, and advocates guile over brute force. He exerts power through manipulation and insinuation. His face is more gracile and youthful, with larger more expressive eyes. His physical form is more elegant and tapered. He also hosts several negative associations with femininity too... he is vain, preening, deceptive, jealous, and let's face it.... he nags. Constantly. Now, don't misunderstand me. I don't think that these attributes necessarily accurately describe actual men and women. I don't think these qualities need to be gendered or to define our identities and behaviour. However, they are still cultural reference points that have been attached to a gestalt binary concept that is very much codified (for right or wrong) as male/female. In that sense, yes... Starscream has always had feminine qualities, and in most of his many iterations over the years, these elements have remained more or less consistent. His character is defined (negatively for the most part) along the lines of an effeminate male. It's not a very progressive employment of semiotic language, but there it is.
