I have that eaxct same problem on my Traxxas Velenium 3500 motor...bearing exploded and i removed everyting except the outer bearing ring that got stuck... will try something like that...only have epoxy!

Do yourself a favor and put the 4s motor mount case and center diff in there. They will bolt right up and you will never have issues again.

Thought they were 5x13x4 & 5x11x5mm?

What is that wing mount?

I managed to get another fault with the rotor. During practice the car started to run backwards. When I remove the sensor cable it ran forwards as it should. I switched motors and the other motor was fine so it wasn't the esc. I thought It was the sensor board that has crapped out. But it still ran backwards with a different sensor board. After I changed the rotor the motor ran as it should. Very strange.

The shaft on those motors have a spot on the end where you can put a c-clip. Put a c-clip on and the bearing will push right out

Wow! That was some fast tire wear on those fronts. Do you think that maybe your center diff fluid might be too light? I noticed on my Tekno EB410 and ET410 that the front tires have been wearing out faster than the rears and I really have only been running the kit oil suggestion. Just recently I have thickened them up a little so I’ll see if it cuts down on the front tire wear. I also have an original EB48.1 that I spruced up and plan on getting it out racing this summer. I got the kit recommended oil in the center of that and the buggy really burned up the front road tires I have driving on the road in front of my house. Maybe Tekno is a little light with there center diff oil recommendations. Are you running the kit suggested diff oil in your center diff?

Hey man! Great vid. I'm having some problems with my Big Rock. Motor was rattling and stopped right away. Full battery, checked the mesh, plate is not bent, found a pebble in the fan for the ESC and removed it, greased the bearings, put back the motor real tight with loctite and it still acts funny. Can give it a little throttle but increasing it makes it stop running. If you got time I would be really glad if you just can watch my latest shorts here and see if you can give some advice. If not, it's cool :) Thanks!

There is an external repair kit made for this issue by a aftermarket company. It moves the bearing forward on the rotor outside the motor case. As soon as I find the link I will post it.

Are you using a packout for the ET48? I pretty much have the exact same setup, using that middle box for et410 and eb410. Adding the et48 to the fleet and trying to figure out what one might work best.

I have a handful of radios, a few Sanwa/Airtronics, 5 Spektrum, and numerous RTR radios... we have a DX5C for a backup and for non-Race vehicles where we still want the comouterized features... my son and I currently race with DX5 Pro radios , and so far we love them. I really want to puck up a 4PM to try a Futaba, as i do t want touchscreen and cant justify the $500-800 price of some flagship models. The DX5 Pro were 400, Sanwa MT-5 is 400 amd doesn't work with older recievers, etc... I really think that the T4PM is a great radio for many people , from bashers to racers to everything in between...and probably one of the best bang for the buck options out right now. Its a nice radio and the price is really great as well. Please let me know what you think of the 4PM after some time using it. Cheers

Currently Pro Line has a 2.2 Dual Stage Foam. Would you stick with the 1.9 foams you illustrated for this vid? Or straight go with 2.2 foams that are out now? I’d imagine you’d get the best tire wrap using yr 1.9 foams in a 2.2 Slinger. Is that correct?
