Change the title please. I was looking for how to assign effect to an individual track but you described how to set it to an input. The title is misleading.
Exact. Looking for the same : I want to apply one effect to one track (so post recorded ) but this video do not show this :-)
Thank you - mjust changed - i was uploading more videos :) Once agian thank you it was not my goal to mislead anyone :)
Just changed - appologies - my mistake - i uploaded more than one video and made mistake intitle. :) Thank you for letting me know.
Thanks
No problem :)
Thanks for this tutorial and also very true advice re being nice to your live sound engineers.
Yes :) Sound engineers and all crew is crucial for artist success it is one tem. :)
This video would have been more useful if we knew what guitar you were using and what pickups. Thanks though.
Hello :) Thanks - i will add this information next time :) I'm using Gibson SG Modern Bluberry Fade
Hello, JMP. I am number 1 though i am also number 3. ha,ha
Most informative video I've seen on this model! Thanks so much!
Thank you! I'm Happy i was able to help :)
Hmm, I have used Tomastik Infeld 10-41 strings in my Martin D-28 for decades. I play finger style, finger picking, and find lighter strings suitable to my "tender touch. But you sound great.
Thank You. I thin every guitra playe needs to find one good for him and instrument - tested lots of combinations and now i play 12 gauge. 11 more for fingerstyle. :)
So mic 2 is the output channel?
Hm... Im not sure mic input can't be an output. Thank you for comment:)
It does take a little bit to learn it.. but practice makes perfect.. but you never have perfection.. it's all in the journey enjoy it
thanks :)
I got one of these I love it.. it has changed my life.. my performance.. Scotland to the point where I don't even want to play guitar without it.. yes I'm hooked
Wow great to hear :) greetings from Poland
JC120- Roland Jazz Chorus 120

In many videos the home Page shows effects below the Memory Number but yours here doesn't, Just like mine there Is only a huge "Memory 01" do you know why?
You can change view dependiong on what you need. use arrows if i remeber :)
Hi patrick...one questione...i use Bank A for ACOUSTIC guitar...with delay, chorus etc...and Bank B for the vocals...with reverb,echo,etc...when i play live i could use toghether with their Bank effects on? Thank you
Hello :) are we talking about Input effects?
Yes
my friend, tell me more about these pedals, full video on how to do it, I’m confused, thank you in advance.🙏🙏
👌👌👌
On the RC300 I only use the bass effect. When you press the effects button, the bass effect will then switch on immediately for recording on any track (very easy to quickly record a baseline). Is it possible to create this same scenario on the rc600 except assign 1 button for bass and maybe another for harmonies? My thoughts are to use "Track select" button for the bass effect and "undo/redo" button for harmony effect. Is this possible? Just to clarify, i want it so that pressing say, button 8 alone starts the effect immediately? I’m asking if I’d be able to activate it without needing to press and hold the FX button before hand. Hope that makes sense!
Hi Lucy - the best would be to have an online call to see what you want to do :) I think i will start option for consultations soon :)
Tell me how to return the factory settings, otherwise I pressed something and now I have 4 pedals turned on at the same time. Thank you
Hello :) it is in the settings - factory reset you need to change page of menu - but be carfule which one you use. There is memory and memory+settings option.
Hey, thanks for the tips! I'm trying to figure out of there is an automatic 'ducking' algorithm happening at the inputs...When I sing loud, or play my Handsonic loud, the volume of all the loops duck and come back up again when the vocals or drums are silent again. That sounds like a ducking to me...any ideas? Cheers from Belgium!
Hi Pat :) can you create short video and send me - would be easier to understand :)
Hey, I think I have found the issue: looks like there's some compression going on in the FOH mixer (I use a Boss GigCaster8). When I lower the output volume of the RC600 the ducking effect is far less...
👍👍👍
Great comparison! I agree, both string types sound good, with slight differences in tone between them. They sound similar enough that I could see letting playing feel be the determining factor over tone. I can also see how the lower tension playing characteristics of the FX might be well suited to the design intention of the SC-13. I haven’t tried the FX yet, but the idea of lower tension certainly appeals to me, and it may suit my playing style well. Thank you for making this video; You have inspired me to give the FX a try next time I put fresh strings on my SC-13 in place of the Lifespan that came on the guitar as original equipment from the Martin factory. Have you made a final decision yet on which strings you like best for your SC-13?
Hello :) So i decided to go with FX but 12. 11 are not enough for me as i play a lot of strumming and i felt not enough energy from guitar. Bur 11 are alswo good :)
Great video about the SC-13e. I bought one a month ago, and also love it. My favorite guitar I have ever played in 30+ years. A trick I use to secure straps (I don’t like strap locks), is to use thread to stitch the slot on the strap, and then install the strap to the guitar by unscrewing the strap buttons from the guitar, insert them through the holes in the strap, and then re-screw the strap buttons onto the guitar. This way the strap will never come off accidentally. Only downside is the strap is not easily removable, but I never take the straps off my guitars one installed, so it’s not a problem.
Hello - thank you for this tip :) I have bought original hard case for my sc13 and i can't leave stra on it. But i will maybe figure something in the future :)
Hi, there is a silent gap between my loops which is an issue when recording guitar as its very noticable. What am i doing wrong please?
Thank you
When i start a track, the track syncs to rhythm. But when i switch to next track, the second track is out of sync with rythm. All my tracks have sync switch on. Whether i am on immediate or measure sync mode, the track does sync to rhythm after switching to second track. Any insights?
👌👌👌
hiw to undo everything,
🤘🤘🤘👋
You are a legend Patrick. Thank you so much.
100% best start-up tutorial ! !
I learned stuff. Thank you. Got stuff worth writing down, for a time when I actually get to sit down with this awesome unit. Thanks again.
thaks u, your videos are helping me a lot! I'm about to buy a Boss RC 600, but I'm still not sure whether to get this one or the BOSS RC 505 MK2, since they have the same functions. However, the first one is made for guitar and the second one for vocals, and what I do is both play and sing.
Hi - it is always hard to select - RC600 has 6 inputs - 2 for mics so maybe check what you need regarding inputs and outputs :)
Maybe an indication in each title as to content
Thanks, very generous
Thank you :)
👏👏👏😁
Thank you :)
Thx Pat.......great vids...............V helpful.
Thank you :)
😁👌👌👌
Thank you :)
With the effects already on this RC600 would it be worth using it alongside a separate multi effects pedal? For example could the rc600 do as much effects wise as say a boss me 90 or gx 100? I want a looper and I want a multi effects peddle. What I'm suspecting is (these/this will be my first peddles/ peddle. Depending on what I can find out, I'm fairly new to this stuff) the looper functions on the mfx peddles aren't as good as on the loopers and I'm guessing the effects on the loopers aren't as good as the effects on the mfx peddles?! 🤔😂 Anyone with any thoughts, advice or comments, I'd appreciate it! 🙏🏻
Hard one - depends on budget - if you can afford separate device yopu will have much more. In my opinion you can use RC to some extent - it is a looper and can be limited. :)
@@JMPMusicAcademy pretty much set my heart on a GX100!
Thx man you do a great service to us all.
Thank you :)
Thank you for your video. I’m just now building my own pedalboard with the RC 600 as my main unit. I’m wanting to build the board and then build a protective latching case with a removable top, so I can just lay the case in position, remove the top and then plug in and play.
Thank you :)
Super thanxs
That's super! Thank you man.
Thank you :)
Great video! I just recently purchased this looper! Hopefully they don't drop a new one this year.😀
Thank you :)
🙏😎
Thank you :)
