How sure are you that the cisterns only need to cover the drop off area for the vils to boost them? I am a noob but I thought it is "gathering speed", and not bonus percentage to dropoff? Or how exacty does that work? Also do you know if a farm is still in the area of the great winery if a small part of it is in its radius, or does it have to be covered fully by the radius?

is this bo good in 2V2 ? for instance my teammate is always playing eng, and i'm japanese, is it good vs a malian & french ? or is it better if it's against 2 FC civs like hre + malian or ayubids ... etc

Content like this is fantasitic, like seriously this is a perfect example of what I am looking for when I want to learn a new civ. The balance between depth and accessibility is perfect, the powerpoint style of presentation mixed in with explanations/practical use cases is great.

Just started AoE4 since release played some years pretty much Starcraft 2 and was quite succesfully. So i understand RTS but looking for some build orders where i can start from to improve. And i need to say taht this one makes a lot of fun if you halfway can get your macro up while watch for your Units it's really good. Don't played it against every civ but against Gold heavier civs it's quite strong in my opinion. Plus in lower leagues you get the panic advantage :D Thanks for sharing and keep up your good work :D

I’m a VERY Bronze/new player…but am enjoying learning the Byz for its flexibility and challenge. This breakdown was crazy helpful!! Saving it to watch multiple times as I learn each age unique features.

Great video, very interesting and you should make more! Personally, i would play this differently, I could argue this is more efficient but here you go: Tryna fast castle and the impressive in depth scouting you did , you could 100% skip the outpost, the stone mining and the wood gathering and go naked castle for free, and obviously snag all the relics faster. This is very APM based, but you should constantly raid raid raid and could potentially delayed or unable his wall ins and sacred sites. I didn't like the transition to archers at all, while they still do a good damage to horse archer, you arent mobile. A transition to horseman would've been crazy here and deleted his entire horse archer mass while detering them from arriving in your base. The outposts can hold by themselves and i understand the concerns about sending vills to wall your base, but in this very case its preferable you'd wall rather than tower. The horseman will already keep the horse archers busy. They are tanky as hell, +2 ranged armor, they arent gonna die. From there you transition to MAA's and rally to the enemy base. I think you could even do that in your case as well and cause havoc in the enemy base and ignore the horse archers completely and that alone will cause enough eco damage to win the game. You did end up winning and you made the right decisions to get out of the bad situations you unfortunately let your opponent put you through. Like you said he could literally make a handful of spears and xbows and mess you up entirely and in this case it's a throw by him ❤

I played a game last night and I'm just started with the order of the dragon fast castle into burgrave men at arms/ crossbow, knight build and I got demolished by a byzentine fast castle, who took relics and had this unit that just destroyed my army, ran me right over... I don't know what the counter is to those units but maybe I should just play byzentine. Coinman on the ranked ladder, silver 2 this season, I have been gold 2 Japanese other seasons, feel free to stream that game, it was against a guy named rommel lmao...of course it was.

good strat solve problem with delhi was transition age 3 when you need more food income and don't want to wait the keep upgrade for doing some vils and was difficult to do this transition.

Are you sure about the range of horseman ? Wasnt it upgraded to range of Sipahi?
