Thank you for posting this. I had the pleasure and privilege of meeting this wonderful lady while she was attending SIU. She honored us with her presence at my home church in Carbondale, IL. She has reached more people than she knows. She left an everlasting impression on my life.

Rosemary Griffin was my first Piano Teacher in Orangeburg SC. I learned to read music and play the Piano. Sis. Griffin made a great impact on my life. My professional career was to serve joyfully as a music teacher for 35 years in the state of SC. With further study through college, I learned to read and play Beethoven Sonatas, Bach Preludes and Fugues, Rhapsodies by Chopin and so many other composers throughout historical periods in music. She really blessed my soul as I learned how to transpose and improvise on the spot in Traditional Gospel, contemporary Gospel, Gospel-Jazz, Christian Rock. While I love all of those styles of music, The most potent of christian music I truly love and which I think is a and must be and should be a strong essence in all church worship services is the Hymns of the Baptist Hymnal. The lyrics are of such essence having direct, not watered down, but direct correlation to a scriptural base. Sis. RoseMary, thank you so much for the powerful influence in my life, laying the awesome foundation of academic music to start a life long career for me; and the love of music you flourished into Bull Swamp Baptist Church--e.g. revivals, choir anniversaries, and much more. I served as a church musician for 42 years and 4 months. Recently retired from the task, [supposedly for 2 years and] returned recently to assist my Church in the upstate. Glad to see you are still uplifting the Name of Jesus in song and sharing, teaching others about the awesome power of God's Holy Spirit. Love. Thomasina

I have so many recordings from Greater Faith music ministry in Orangeburg that when I need a spiritual lift they go on BLAST!!! Awesome woman of God and anointed. This song gets played everyday at least in past few weeks. Wow I miss Shanice Duckett-Smith and Orangeburg Gospel Choral Union.

I used to be a member under different directions but I still love the 101 but seriously yall lamen it boring I just saying no hype I yall get your charisma back. And I'm being truthful not hating hopefully helping. This sucks
