i loved this guy for more than 5 years nd my best friend knew about him and let me tell you me and my best friends have been friends for more than 13 years and i introduced them on a event guess what after a week she came running to me telling me that her nd the guy i liked were in a relationship even though i tried to act cool but i just couldn't and then we had a fight and now we dont even look at each other at collage and i forgot to tell you she informed me about their relationship a day before my 18th birthday

You know, in my case it gets worst because my friend perfectly knew how much I liked that girl and even so he flirted with that person anyway, hiding this fact from me and pretending it's everything ok and not giving a damn about what I feel, it sucks asf. He hasn't got over his ex, he has a lot of issues to begin with and he even so started a new relationship with her. What it may come after that will be nothing but a heartbreaking story and my friends and I know it will end like that but nobody's gonna say a word about it and we just let them find that out by themselves.

I started liking a boy she started liking the same boy. I finally found a really nice and funny kind guy (this is at summer camp wich makes it worse since I’m supposed to have fun) anyways we would hang out during GA (general activity) then I was showering while talking to my firmed while she was using the bathroom and I asked her who her crush was and she wouldn’t tell me so she said wait and see . Later on the bus to the water park we sat in the back and me and my other friend were trying to guess her crush. She said Levi (the name of my crush.) and I was shocked . And I had told her my crush wayyy before and she went on and started liking him. then later that day at the next GA ( general activity ) she was walking around with her “bestie” and she went to Levi and was talking to him so me and my friend went to them and said hi trying to be included into the convo and then later I saw one of my friends Clara and her older sister sitting next to the girl her was talking to Levi Her name is Anastasia anyways they were sitting together and so was adina her “ bestie “ and I asked what the deal was with Levi and she wouldn’t say anything and was being awkward . So I looked at Clara cuz I knew she would tell me bc she’s not the type of person to keep a secret that involves someone so she told me that Anastasia was dating Levi now and that she asked him out to banquet ( all camp dance,party and dinner) and I started going off on her bc she KNEW I liked Levi and didn’t bother to tell me she started dating him . 2 days later - It was 3 day trips (canoeing for 3 days ) and we were in the river canoeing and she was taking to these older boys named Charlie and Ari and they know who Levi is so she started saying who she liked obviously her bf and we were hanging by the sandbar and she started being a pick my around Ari and Charlie like being on their side when I talked back at them and so later while we were back on the canoes Charlie and Ari came up to me saying how I feel abt Levi and then I said good? And I asked why and he said Ik u like him and I said how do you know he he looked across from me to Anastasia and so I pulled my canoe to hers and I yelled at her asking why she would tell them that I liked him and she tried to lie saying she didn’t and obviously she was lying bc I asked her one more time and she snapped so I yelled at her asking why and she said cuz why not and we had a convo before were I told her not to tell others my business but she did so on banquet she went with Levi and sat in the corner during the dj party and her little sister was looking for her so obviously I took her to her sister and when I walked to the back I saw them kissing . My jaw dropped . And I asked what they were doing and she said non of ur business and she told me I need to go away but her sister can stay. Later that night she said she was gonna kill me bc I saw them kiss so know I’m just not friends with her but I still like Levi and know it’s rlly awkward when we see each other bc me and Levi go to the same school so know he side eyed me and looks worried for me sooo

I'll call him (p). so p and i talk a lot and goof around with eachother and my dad heard from his friends that he "liked" me. and i wasnt completely sure i liked him but i think that made me like him a little more. so i tell my friend(r) and i talk about him as one does. so its the next year and i havent talked about him as much because i havent seen him and i wasnt trying to bombard my friends with my crush so i think R thought i didnt like him or she forgot. so i didnt tell R that i liked p and so in 6th period she says she likes p. and i was wxcited for her because we are bestfriends. and i talked about my feeling making it seem as im talking about someone else. shes starting to tell our other friends and i know youll think its cheesy but im dying inside and i dont want to talk about him to anyone in case they tell R and she gets mad at me. she said if someone in our group likes someone and someone starts like him the second person should back off. i dont want her feelings or mine to get hurt. how should i tell her. i dont want to make a scene. i really like p and dont want to not like him but i care more about her.

vent~ The guy i have liked for 4 years started talking to my best friend in the summer of 2022. They both started getting closer but at that time no one knew i liked him. I had no idea that they were talking until I came home from my summer vacation and saw them talking a lot in school and on text. And then he asked her out to the school dance and they both went together. They both got closer and closer the entire year and I didn't say anything because no one knew and they both looked so happy together who was I to ruin that. Then all of a sudden my and my best friend were on a walk together and we sat down and she tried to guess the guy I like. She said some random names until she said his name. And I froze. And that's the moment she found out. But all she said is I always knew and she just teased me about it. She didn't get mad or anything. In the summer of 2023 she found out that he only went out with her because he had a bet with his best friend about who can get a girlfriend first. When she found out about this she broke down because she really liked him. When we confronted him he admitted to it but said he really liked her to and was so sorry. Of course me and our other friends didn't let her forgive him so fast but he kept on apologizing and by the time we went back to school everything was back to normal. Him in love with her and me just being second best to her. It hurts every time I see them together so I tried getting over him by liking another guy but that guy turned out to be a jerk so back to my best friend's boyfriend. I felt so guilty for liking him basically in love with him but I honestly can't help it. This semester me and him started texting, nothing weird of course he's dating my best friend I could never betray her like that and neither would he. It's very clear that he is in love with her and only considers me a friend. Always calling me bestie and stuff.
