Oh cmon that's not really true is it? I guess perhaps you're right because it's not about applauding it when it exists it's about lambasting it when it doesn't. Ie magic the gathering, dungeons and dragons, lost ark, Warhammer and then making concentrated efforts to shift the community and face of the game. Once it's been changed (not saying damaged it still play magic game is fine) you pretend like nothing changed and it's nbd.

I see more criticism of fake corporate “wokeness” like Disney having their 17th “first openly gay character” just so they can put that out in headlines and generate discourse. Aside from the occasional person being like “I love this lgbt character in this game cuz they’re so relatable to my lgbt experience”, there’s like never any talks about representation. I never see people say shit like “this game is so woke, you’ll love it” or “this game is problematic because everyone’s hetero-normative”. People don’t talk like that, only yall do. I haven’t heard any discussions on “we need to make games more “woke”’ or “games are too problematic” since like the 2010’s when I was far more rightwing and Anita Sarkesian was a thing. Take Stellar Blade for example, I didn’t even hear about the game until I saw people making fun of rightwingers who were saying “this game is so non-woke I bet it’s pissing off the left so much”. And even then there was no discussion of the game, just of how obsessed rightwingers are with “wokeness” and “triggering the imagined libs”. Yall are the ones so obsessed with “wokeness” that you’re making games into a political battlefield rather than just enjoying them.

In the spaces I’m in no one talks about representation unless they’re saying shit like “I love [insert lgbtq character] because they’re so relatable to my experience”. People don’t rag on things for not being woke enough, like being too heteronormative or staring white male characters. 2. I see more criticism of corporate pandering to wokeness in my spaces than anything else. People rolling their eyes at Disney’s 17th “first openly queer character” Shit like that. 3. It’s always right wingers whining and bringing up wokeness. 4. Y’all are the ones making games into a political battlefield rather than just enjoying games. Take a game like stellar blade, I only heard about that game because I saw people making fun of rightwingers who were saying shit like “look how non-woke this game is I bet it’s triggering the libs”. No one was discussing the game only how weirdly obsessed rightwingers were with the idea of “anti-wokeness”. 5. The most beloved games I see get talked about are like the dark souls series and no one says shit like “these games are too problematic cuz they don’t have enough wokeness in them” the reason games are getting more woke probably has more to do with the fact that more educated people (like game developers and professional writers) are generally disproportionately left wing than it does with the left pushing for wokeness.

Once again I think it's disingenuous to say a nobody on the left cares if a game is woke once the entire ip has been changed. Wizards of the coast took to of the most popular ips in magic and dnd and changed the from the ground up. Making aragorn from lord of the rings black was a conscious decision. Yes nobody on the left cares if he was black but they did care that be was white or it wouldn't have been changed. Decisions like that are made constantly in the games industry

A. I said non hetero because no genders were ever stated in the game. B. I never said the game was bad. I like it liked it. C. 3 to 4 years ago isn't today. Games like this one btw were criticized for being queer bait. And I think there lies the problem. D. Game gate 2.0 is happening because it wasn't good enough to have original stories with representation and you won't convince me otherwise. I was there for the first one on Twitter knee deep in it. Whatever my opinions nothing good will come from it and I think alot of people should ask themselves why it's happening again instead of just saying 'racism'

@jarf2448, you opened your counter argument towards the video with an attack on his choice of words to attack his credibility when "Non-hetero relationship" is a perfectly valid term for "gay". You did not attack his choice of words because of a false use of definition, but you did it to say he is lesser than for not using your preferred term. I believe this shows that you are too immature to properly reason, and that you are also blinded by bias as well as emotion. So therefore I believe your credibility is to be in question.

It was fun. If this game came out this year instead of 2021 it would be better reviewed. The popularity of 'cozy' games have went through the roof. Peoples main complaint about this game is that it was too easy with no threat.

@JoeyEggz2 For me it was. I enjoyed every minute of it and I got 33 hours of fun for $35 which is not bad if you ask me. But ideally it should only be 20-25$, and it probably would be that much if you could buy it without getting the stupid costume and bgm pack
