Yes, I used cheat engine to make an indefinite save file right before the start of the DLC, so that after every attempt I didn't have to create a new character, and spawned in the things needed from the base game BEFORE the start of the run.
This took around 15 attempts and 4 streams, not including off-stream boss practice.
