i was at us foods for 2 months in 2023. think i lost like 5 pounds. id be okay with doing the manual labor, but the job is 10% trucking. and they baby you do much omg fr
Pretty much I worked out 2 hrs before my shift and it turned out to be 12hes 😢 and my pallets were nicely stacked fast and efficient
What a joke. Athletes? How about y’all pay us like one then.
that dude moving slow af 😂😂😂
Lol I never did any stupid stretches LMAO 😅😂
I have a job offer at Sysco but I think I’m going to decline it
If time was only on your side lol it ain’t no where near like that
Them 6/10's
$32 an hr.... I'm taking my pain. Once the house paid for I'm giving 1 more yr & then let a temp service find me a job getting $15 an HR with 20 OT hrs a week
you can make 32 plus with a skilled traded and you can make it long term not temp
What?
That doesn't even make sense
@@cmarbormaster tell me about it
Go to sysco and make 20k more a year!! Hit higher numbers and watch your hourly rate go up and not get a b.s. incentive added every week! I usually make 33/hr and thats only a 128% we top out at 49/hr for a 140!
Do you straight stack everything at Sysco or do you cross tie ?cause I seen vids of foos picking at Sysco and they were straight stacking everything vs picking at a grocery warehouse we cross tie everything.
@@julianjauregui2938 who made more at the end? Pallets can look good but at the end of the day, that pallent gonna be empty
@@adolfo1264 I made more at the end cause I took my ass to Sysco
@@julianjauregui2938 exactly. Sysco got that bread 🍞
@@adolfo1264 hell yea which Sysco you at
I kinda find it irritating how slow he’s moving and sorting box’s
Hahaha haha hahaha losers!!!!!!!!!
We all know that’s not the way you do it. We toss them fucking cases left and right
It's a fake! He's moving slow as shit, has bulk pulled product out the ass and he's not checking his oil lids for tightness bc you don't want oil spill in your trailer. That's a work pace to unload 300cs in 8 hours- unacceptable
lol, this video is fake news, there is no way you gonna work like that in the food industry, Those Companies show you technics to lift boxes the proper way to do it but in real life, if you work like that using those techniques you will never finish your Route. and they know that.
4:24.... So... "Take it slow and listen to your boss". Well what if my boss is a piece quota meeting douchebag and fires people for taking it slow?? Can I count on you to stand up to the boss Jim? No? Then get the fuck out of here you lying two face piece of shit!!!!
Lol notice he only scanned 1 label. Im sure his scan percentage isnt up to company standards.
Too much weight on top of those oil containers man. Here from US Foods Oregon
1. They don’t want you to move that slow. 2. It will NEVER be loaded that beautiful for you to find what you need
He’s not moving slow
I have it on x2 play back speed and its still not as fast as we do it 😂😂
Richie Jones lol u r right . It is still slow.
I worked for these jack offs for a year and a half. The only stretch you need to learn is the anal stretch as they bend you over and stick it to you everyday.
Slave ass work, did this kind of dumb ass shit for 15 years thinking I was a savage and a hard worker going hard 60 plus every week. Im barely 38 years old with crushed vertebrates pinched nerves and herniated discs. This kind of work is to get your foot in the door for new cdl drivers, can't replace health with money you think is good when all you do is work and go to sleep and do it again the next day. No family time, no way to enjoy your HARD earned money.
Any 170lbs guys doing this type of work?
Yep me
I weigh 130 lol
I’m 150 doing this lol
U take that long never get done ...
Did people actually fall for this bs like it was a good thing something to brag about??
😂😂😂😂😂😂
And when have you ever seen a pallet built where there's no digging never even if it's single pick they're still digging
I'm seeing alot of shit talking one thing I HATE about the internet, wanna be tough guys that probably never did anything that deals with manual labor because Ive done Dollar General for a year thought it was week did fracing in the oilfields thought it was also week! Done trenching for pipe in the summer time in VA that was some work! I give it to any truck driver that wants to do more than just sit in a damn truck for 11 hrs!
US Foods is a great company to work for. The average professional athlete career is about 5 to 10 years. US Foods offers career opportunities up to 30+ years. And promote within. So hate on the former NFL guys all you want but they have good work ethic and US Foods management recognizes that (at least in the midwest).
You make the white man go up the a little handicap ramp but the black guy has to go up a curb...
Gerald Valdez 😂right
And gave him cups 😂😂😂😂 while the other dude had the weight?! Right…
Try doing beer. This is a piece of cake
Mike jones fucking right dude
retired trainers hahahaha!!!!!!!
I worked for them for 8 years and then Ben E Keith for 8 years. The work became less and less enjoyable. Three compartment loads where you can't open the bulkheads. Scanning the cases, especially trying to scan torn up labels on freezer cases. Couldn't get any momentum. The work became much more tiresome because of it. Just didn't enjoy it anymore.
What you do now?
Seems like core-mark would be a much better gig. Those core-mark bins a super light most of the time and you dont have to deal with any of this heavy frozen crap and liquids.
Yeah this is the real speed of a delivery driver in food service! Lmao! Dude will never get a rt done. Gotta make it look good for the cameras, but that isn’t realistic lol.
That's bs, they don't give you that much time to take your time
100%
If he went any slower he would be going backwards lol
Lmao the audacity of companies
I wonder what his CPH is???
60🤣🤣
Stretch before work during break after work
Damnn he gotta push dat shit real far i think i might wanna sit to tanker lol
I’d never finish my 16 stop 1100 case route if I went that slow
How many times do you go into each stop with the hand truck? Like 10 times? Seems like that would take a hour for each stop. How do you have enough time in the day to do that much work? That's insane
@psykotikoutlaw Do you know of any food company hiring drivers with no experience?
Is this really destructive to the body ? I just got selector job just doin orientation now though
Urlastnow now how is the job ? I start tomorrow
everything is destructive to the body. just work hard and live your life
Sure is. I have the bad back, bad knees, bad wrists, and tired feet to prove it.
So how is it? Everone always worried
Hi, I'm thinking of applying to U.S. Foods as a local driver. If you would, can you answer a few questions, please? How many stops do you do per day and how long does each stop last? How many hours of work per day do you actually do including driving and unload? How much time do you spend driving? Thanks a lot. Good day.
Sorry to say it, but all of those you asked about vary depending on the route.
hahah idiot
Sysco bought US foods. Watch out for the stairs either going up or down.
Rogerrabbit30 The Government put a halt to that..Sysco is still Sysco! Us foods is still Us foods , too many complaints about monopolizing just think about it they would have been the world's biggest food service ever!.. putting small mom-and-pop shops out of business like saladino's out here in California that serve subways Hometown buffets on the West Coast..this company because being so big they would have dominated and probably gave him a cheaper rate and distributing their food such as subways and many others
NO curb ramp? Hes going to blow out his lower back pulling it up at the 1.45 This is very bad "training" video.
I did that for 17 years and 4 back surgeries ago
if we athletes, where's my 30,000 a day?
30,000 in pounds, not money
Only the fat ass manager make that much
RunPuL4skin in the big wig's pockets
this video is definitely a demo we move a hell of a lot faster than that
for the people tht don't know abt such work. Guys like this probably be mkng arnd $80+ a year. It's not about what they do to get paid it's about the route they have and etc. etc.
Gloves lol
athlete master lol more like slave master
Don't matter what u do stretching n exercise proper still gonna fuck up your back, shoulder, hand, carry more than 30k to 40klbs everyday in long run we just only human not robot.
pay a athletes salary then.... o wait no on second thought your just a worker
What do you do? Prolly making less money than us
@@patrickranes9998 how much u make a hour
@@patrickranes9998 also i was defending the worker im sure it was over your head though
