Base and quarter round bro
Yes. It was perfect in order for the next trim guy to come in and cover with 5/8 or 3/4 quarter round… I wasn’t being sarcastic - I gave him 1/4” all around. GC had done all trim work including baseboards before I got there to do floors in most of the rooms for some reason.
@ you probably ARE the next guy. Right
….nope. I’m sorry you’re confused bud lol
Only confused about installing the base before the floor
Fake!
No…it’s not fake. Google is your friend. “Lodge cast iron”.
True craftsmanship genius
Much appreciated. I’m just a small time craftsman who likes to make things look nice!
God that's beautiful
Holy f*ck... couple hundred years ago you'd be at the stake for this!!
Hahahaha did you just accuse me of witchcraft?
@PrintKrafters I did! 🤣
It’s not a solid piece of wood but it’s a solid piece of work. Nicely done.
Hey thanks friend! Hope you have a wonderful day.
That's very impressive, sir. I would love to see how the fit holds up when the wood gets wet and bloated.
This is solid maple and I coated it with 3 coats of polyurethane…its application is on a piece of furniture indoors so I don’t suspect there will be significant water absorption.
@PrintKrafters Well, that's answers my question. Anyway I'm impressed 😎
Can you show us how you did it?
I used the fence on my 8” jointer at a 45 & ran it through a couple passes, checking fit & removing about 1/32 at a time. I don’t have a camera or tripod set up in my garage to record it safely lol.
@@PrintKrafters huh, interesting. I'm just starting out wood working and didn't realize you could set the fence of a jointer to anything but 90 degrees. That would take a lot of passes to do!
@ well I ripped them at a 45 on my table saw first ;-) and then put the silky smooth edge on with the jointer.
@@PrintKrafters ahhh ok that makes more sense
Cool I suppose
Thanks I suppose!
? is it for the loge factory
Haha, yep. Sure is.
👌
Bro
Yes?
racist ass cupcake making $20 an hour 💀
id start a purge if i would have to use imperial
Considering I’m in the US…in TN, specifically, and you use metric units, that tells me I’m better armed. I like my chances lol.
"I like really tight tolerances" *uses imperial* 😂
😂 can’t help it bruv - I was born this way innit? Sorry, I’ll convert for you…the cabinet will have 2.38125mm on either side - you’re right, that’s WAY easier than saying “3/32” lol. Anyway, thanks for watching.
@@PrintKrafters 😂😂 touchè my mahn 😂
why in us your all use Pocket screws on cabinets that next to each other. You will never see that screws if they go straight through the side panel . ?
Because it’s stronger to screw into the face of plywood vs the side
If used correctly, pocket screws do not go through the material. It’s what they were invented for - they’re perfect for this application.
