I did some comparisons of this to the Samples from Mars LinnDrum samples since I picked it up beforehand. I was able to get them sounding pretty similar. The samples are most likely different found in IconDrums, and maybe the decay algo is slightly different, but you can get pretty close with high quality samples and a Simpler in Ableton. It's still cool to have this as an option available, but for me I think working with high quality samples and adding my own effects will be enough for now. Also, I dug through the files a bit, and there's no way to access the samples directly and appears to be locked behind the plugin. So can't do a pure one to one comparison. I discovered how the presets work and are read though

Installed 8 and it's empty. No leap, no uno no chords, etc. There are tabs for them but nothing's there

Considering the TH8 Thing is close to $200 full price (I have that btw - nice instrument), and this is FREE don't ya think it's a little harsh to say there is nothing interesting about it? @@wooplayer5801 I dont know. I just loaded it like any other vst and could play the triggers through the keyboard. Only the 8 notes work though. It doesnt play chromatically like most synths. Just 8 notes triggering the 8 triggers
