Drag to loose mate try tighten up hook the fish better as rod working for you to hook fish I used to drop so many till I changed things no really drop fish since changing it defo makes difference and you giving them to much time to get you in trouble when drag so loose

Why are the mouths (corners) damaged on these fish?

Could you not have waded down the margins to try and free that last fish?

Gutted on the loss. Shame you couldn't get a bailiff or the use of a boat. To at least get out to the spot. To see what the situation was. As always enjoy the journey with you.

Tough bit of fishing, Kev. The one that fell off from the margin swim did look as if it was decent. Both losses seemed pretty unavoidable. Your channel is the only Uk carp one I still follow. Just enjoy the way you represent your fishing now that my own near 60 year carping time has come to an end. Thanks for it all, mate.

Heartbreaking losing a good fish at the end of a session. I remember those fish being some of the hardest fighting I’ve ever encountered. Certainly test your tackle they do! Better luck on the next trip. Really loving these vids Kev

Always carry a cheap loaf of bread with when surface fishing to feed the ducks gulls etc off then you will find it far more easier to surface fish kevin 😊❤
