Who ate whom?

My grandchildren watch it. But they have me telling them what is funny. What people don't realize is that these cartoons were made for adults to lessen the effects of WWII at home. They were made in the 20's to late 40's.

Fireworks absolutely suck, if you see 1 you have seen 1 million. It also interferes with other people’s lives. 1 time when I was 19 it was new years they were using fireworks until 1am and I was p*ssed. Sometimes people don’t even wait until a holiday and just set off fireworks and if you have a dog it’s actually hell because they are non stop freaking thinking it’s the end of the world.

You remind me of my friend in a lot ways. Mannerisms, style, face, glasses, voice in all kinds of ways. They're a cool friend tho 😊

I wouldn't eat a rat bc they eat everything. Rabbit is good and they have a good diet.. if a roadrunner eats rats, I'll pass. I'll eat chickens but pretty sure they stay away from rats.

K does not want to eat rats, or bunnies, or snakes. Neither do I, but I know that all those things have been (or still are in some places) food for humans.

K says not all birds eat rodents, but some do. The hawk definitely does. She says she's not sure of the roadrunner, but Mama thinks a roadrunner would definitely eat a packrat. They hunt snakes and lizards too.

K says they would not eat each other. Bunnies are herbivores. We're unsure of the rats.

K says they're probably all looking for the same food (the rodents). Bunnies usually eat grass or carrots, but in this case probably the same food as the packrat. Cactus fruits, leaves, maybe bugs. Though she doesn't think that a bunny would eat bugs.

K says that a packrat would probably eat the fruit that a cactus drops

Ah yes, I knew this one right away: Black Witch Moth! I have seen them in Southern AZ and in FL! I'm surprised You where able to hold it as long as You did! They are generally are very quick and weary!

I remember in elementary there was one that would lay her nest on the playground somewhere where the mulch was and the teachers would put traffic cones around the nest and I would just sit next to the nest staring at them while they incubate

We are professional 🏜️ hikers and trust me, you must be conditioned and trained. We don't even consider mountains in the summer, only flat low grass open range with the car always in view! This is not a family adventure or tourist exploration activity. Come back in November for that!

Yes, it's startling. For some people with ptsd, it can call back bad memories, for other people it's a joyous occasion for others it's a sobering occasion. Fireworks are supposed to make you feel something, whatever that is. Let them enjoy their fun, just like we can enjoy our quiet hobbies year round, they only get one day to go wild, and that's perfectly fine.

I always wonder what these birds would do if you were to pick up the eggs and go after them while holding said eggs. Like when do they instinctively give up the act?
