Hello, This channel is for the activities I do in my day to day life. I get up to a range of stuff. I hope with more views and subscribers that I can do more exciting things, making unbelievable content as always.
Paragliding over Medellín, Colombia
I went paragliding with a company called Gtopik.
I started in the hills of San Felix then flew into the north east of the city of Medellín.
Very fun experience would recommend.

Working at height - Sash window frame painting
Переглядів 7493 місяці тому
In this video I’m using rope access to paint some window frames. I had to abseil with the paint as there was no scaffolding at the back of the building. I had a lovely cup of tea on the ropes which one of the residents made me. I was using an external gloss white paint which went on nicely. All the frames were prepped the day before so all I needed to do was give it a wipe down. A short video b...
Devon 2023
Переглядів 1594 місяці тому
Hello guys, it’s Grasscutter here . I found some footage from our trip from last year. We went down to Devon and camped in a field for 2 nights. Tensions were high as I left the tent open during a rain storm letting the sleeping bag soak up all the water. We went to the town of Bideford which was a bit boring with not too much to do there apart from having a pasty . Once we got back to the tent...
Scary heights Engineering video

I am level 2 RAT. I am working in London uk abseiling building in my orange suit. The building is 70 meters tall. The repair is a standard splice procedure to make sure the expansion joint is in the right place - otherwise bricks pop off when the building wobbles. An expansion joint allows the building to naturally wiggle and not crumble . However this building was poor constructed so we will h...

I recommend throwing a second back up device on the other set of ropes before moving between anchor points. I personally like to throw my hand ascender with footloop on the new main-line after I have it in the chest ascender. Great video and great work!
Wow No ropes 😂
Looking to do my irata in the coming weeks. How much was all your safety gear or is it provided by the company ?
My safety gear was supplied by the company I worked for but it will cost £850 minimum all in
Love this skill am interested
I hope well paid
Peanuts
love watching Can lads posting videos and doing rope transfers wrong, surprised you didn't get a bollocking for that.
Can Lads do much worse than this
@@Grasscutter69 I know I'm one of them
👍
There is not enough money in the world that could get me to do that.
Did you have previous experience as a painter or window cleaner?
Hello mate, i from asia have irata L1 with 100 hours experience windows cleaning. Can i work at UK with rope access company there?
Yes you can, companies are looking for window cleaners
@@Grasscutter69 thats cool, by the way what your personal social media? Hope i can ask anything about the job there. Tq
@@iskandarhafidz-z1n GrasscutterTV @tiktok
Just imagine that taco bell hittin' while up there
Seems like you could have done that from inside :)
imo. dropping something from that height is far scarier than anything when it comes to this kind of work lmao
Personally I’m more worried about falling to my death than dropping tools but yes you are right
@@Grasscutter69 fair enough. i trust my gear and respect the height
Wonderful job professionally done. there is so much better than I can learn from this one singular video
Glad it was helpful!
Nah, couldn't pay me enough to do this.
reminds me of operation federation day from COD ghosts
Hell no. Hellllll no
Warehouse job not looking so bad anymore.
“Hun, hows there a footprint on the outside of the window?”
nice work. I use rope access for roof work but have never went over the side fr 2 reasons: 1. the ropes would be pulling down on the guttering and would probably damage it 2. how do I get back up again to get tools etc?
Sometimes you would need to remove the gutter but luckily I didn’t need to. There is a climbing device on the harness and we typically take all the tools we need with us to save climbing up
@@Grasscutter69 I saw you had two devices but wasn't aware the up one was good enough to raise yourself. I have a basic Petzl Ascender for pulling up and a Petzl Stop for lowering down but your ones look way more advanced
Amateurs
Isn't this building non-compliant? AFAIK insulation needs at least 1 water resistant barrier and here it's just mushed up directly against the window cladding.
I didn’t building it , just doing the repair
@@Grasscutter69 I'm aware but i'm still asking you since you're doing work to the building in that area specifically and it seems like something that should be reported.
sobering
Used to do windows in the 80s ropes and hanging ladders how safety equipment has come on lovely kit to work with
Are you guys more afraid at the top of the building or when you're closer to the ground? I hope this line of work pays 6 figures. Mad props to you guys btw, it takes a certain and special type of person to do a job where your life or the quality of your life is at risk the whole time.
I watched 18 minutes thinking this was a heist video
Hell and no. I hope you guys are earning good money doing this.
I'm not particularly afraid of hights... but this video's first minute or two already makes me feel slightly sick.
What’s the purpose of removing cladding?
zdażyło sie ze ktos sie bzykał w mieszkaniu a ty na linie sie zjeżdzałeś ? :D
No but I’ve seen my share of women in underwear
take care bros👏👏
Would high reach machines be quicker? 210ft they can go now. Or scaffolding? It is a great video, so scary.
Expensive
Why was this even necessary? I didnt see anything wrong with the cladding?
its most likely cheap shit that was used to cut corners but since the grenfel incident its all being replaced
Sketchy rope to rope transfer with only that croll and no ascender. A bit nervous and green. Stay safe man
I understand now that you need more points but that’s the journey towards level 3
Could you not do this from inside the window?
You must be a level 1 with how timid you look on those ropes lmfao
lol yes, it got me sweating
Fred Dibner would have done this job off a ladder. 😂
Half the man he was
Very witty 😊
I get vertigo if I step on a rug... The dogs be like: Why is that hooman on the outside? Isn't they supposed to be on the inside or something? And now I will be constipated for the rest of the week... my sphincster just shut itself close and will not relax for a week or so... The thing you don't want to hear from your rigging session; "crap, we didn't bring the long ropes" Another thing you don't want to hear; "did anywone put an arm and a leg in here?"

I friggin' shat myself just watching you climb over the ledge then shat myself again when you actually started to go down the side of the building.
Nope. Not happening. Good luck. 😮
Awww hellllll noooooo.
I almost passed out when I saw the edge like wtf I would have a heart attack before I could even get up there 😂😂 Nice work!
helal olsun işin stresi arasında birde video çekmişsin
No hagais un cambio de cuerda asi de malo, si te fijas se queda a 1.5 puntos cuando siempre tienes que estar a 2
I am thinking of doing my IRATA level 1 is it hard to get work?
Summer time is here and there is lots of work going on- it will be worth joining a firm and get your hours up
Keep posting videos like this, and I think you'll do just fine
