YEs. The 4 ply are so bulky they are hard to maneuver, so we cut off the last 8-10 feet and attach a 2-ply hose. Makes it much easier to handle.

Good point... This was the early days of this guy blasting and he didn't have a whip line. He eventually move to throwing the hose over the shoulder until he was able to hook up1o feet of 2-Ply

@@sethgerber2132 its very cheap per pound so I use it for almost everything where I am not recycling... In the blast cabinets I usually use Spartan Blast Media

I was a tech at Aqua Blasting Corp. In Bloomfield CT. Alot of Aerospace parts, general flight parts as well as Comercial blasting, medias included, plastic media, Aluminum Oxide media and Biocarbonate of Soda. And Shot Peening. Back in the early to mid 2000s.

Yep. Thats why we are using angles. The Farrow Flow also improves the media distribution.

@@Daileyandrew I would always suggest it, but I feel safer blasting without gloves. When I used to wear gloves, I would have problems gripping the nozzle. Thats said, I would always suggest wearing them, but people will do what they want to do. As for the arms....I don't really have a good excuse. With me....when I am comfortable, I am much safer... YES - you are 100% correct.
