Eps 1: How to Break into Sales Engineering
Awesome recap video of 2024! Onward to 2025!
"What does success mean to you?" Oh wow, does that hit home hard for me now.
Awesome worth watching
Really enjoying these sessions! Thank you for the content. Here were my main takeaways: - Team Dynamics: Sales Engineers and Account Executives must be in sync and aligned before and during calls to succeed. *Remembering you both have the same goal and are a unified team.* AEs should take notes and relay questions from the chat to the SE, who focuses on the demo. Tag team approach also helps maintain prospect engagement and attentiveness. AEs should keep the camera on and remain engaged after introducing the SE. - Disqualifying Deals: Recognize the importance of identifying when a deal is not viable/ knowing when to disqualify it. Disqualifying is a last resort. - Creative Solutions: The importance of coming up with innovative ways to meet prospect needs within the product's capabilities. The more creative you are, the more AEs will want to collaborate with you. I particularly appreciated the example of pre-processing data before it even enters the product, as opposed to implementing workarounds within the product. - Implementation Coordination: Always discuss proposed solutions with the Implementation team before presenting them to the prospect. Document creative workarounds thoroughly to ensure visibility and clarity for the Implementation and Customer Success teams.
This is super cute. glhf.
