QUICK CURVE RULER Squaring up Blocks
Thank you for sharing this information. I bought all three sizes of Sew Kind of Wonderful and I am ready to start making the Christmas Tree in the next few weeks. I am really excited to start playing with rulers.
I just opened my QCR Mini with intention of following this tutorial. Mine doesn’t have those two dashed lines you point out. Is there somewhere that tells me more?
Disappointed that you don’t respond to questions
Hi, Jenny! How did you make the metro hoops with the 4 patch in the middle hanging on the wall behind you? I love that design. Thank you for this tutorial too!
Just got my QCR Mini yesterday and I'm a bit confused about the 1/8" you spoke about. Would you mind elaborating on this? Thank you!
How do i get the paper backing off my ruler? Doesn't easily peel off
"on top of each other" is not possible in the physical universe.
Hi! Help! Im so stuck with the large QCR. I’m cutting a curve on the diamond of a 6.5” square. Im supposed to mark 1/4 down from corners & cut using those marks but my arch comes out wonky & keeps ending up at 6” instead of 6.25”. Ugh!
Don't you answer questions here? It would be helpful.
thanks for the model ! ils very beautiful !
I would be so thrilled to see a new quilting video from you. With the curve it up ruler on any skw quilt!!!!
Thank you you make it look easy can’t wait to try.
so this mini ruler is only to be used with a 5 inch square?
Thank you for explaining so well
I'm confused about the 1/8" measurement. Is the block actually squared up to 4 1/4" since you leave an 1/8" on each side???
THANK YOU for having the camera placed where we can actually SEE your hand movements and fabric placements!! Good tutorial.
My squaring up is always off no matter how I do it. My blocks never match.
That was awesome. Thanks. I really like your hooked feather; haven’t seen that before.
Sew kind of wonderful
What is the name of that pattern that is behind you in your video? I would love to make it.
Thank you for the great tutorial about curves and the quick curves ruler. It's so refreshing to learn a technique that is not your typical straight/angled cut.
Great video
the only thing I don't understand is your directions on the video and in the pattern are different!
yes this is true! I cant understand because I seem ready to cut off the solid curve! Please advise!
Great Video! Question - I'm new to quilting - still learning! Can you square this up to be any size you want - for example - can you square it up to be 7" x 4"? Or do they always have to be squared up at 8" x 4"? Thank you :)
Chic Sisters mønster
Thank you for tacking the "scary". Out of the sewing curves!
were can I buy the ruler
Was specifically looking for how to square up "metro rings" quilt blocks. This doesn't seem to help that particular pattern.
I have cut out all my pieces and some too practice on but can't seem to get the squaring up right. Any sujestions
I have an idea for a shaped ruler. How did you go about having your ruler manufactured?
Beautifully explained and a joy to watch - thank you Jenny for sharing your secrets.
I can't believe I've been doing this backwards all these years! I never knew what that little red ball was for ... Now I know! Thank you Jenny, I'm sure my tear outs will be much neater from now on.
Holy cow! Mind blown!
I'm shocked! I thought everyone used it this way :)
Wow Wow Wow! Jenny, you never cease to amaze me! Thanks so much! Blessings to you and yours.
WOW! I am 70 years old and I learn something new everyday.
Wow …… I have been sewing for 20 years and never knew this……Thanks so much1
After piercing and slicing a block on the table under the actual one needing unstitching, by putting the pointy end into the seam to be "unstitched", I quickly learned the red ball was a brilliant component of a seam ripper.
Beautiful workmnanship!
Did (and/or do you typically) ditch stitch your quilt before the decorative quilting? I love watching your videos.
Could you advise where I could purchase this pattern?

Elegant work.
Hi Jenny, love your work!! You are such a talented quilter! Would you know where to buy those quilting rulers online? I am in Oz. Thanks, Jen

very pretty! Thanks.
GREAT demo, Jenny! The first time I went to your Sew Kind of Wonderful site, I didn't see what size of quilt each pattern was. After going there the second time, I DID see the size - on the lower left side of the cover picture of each pattern (after I enlarged the photo). Ha! My older (and impatient) eyes want everything in jumbo print. :-) Filming from over your shoulder with the excellent film quality and long-enough close-ups clearly make this a professionally-made video for me. Whoo Hoo!
Great technique! Thanks for sharing.
OMG you are a genius, thanks for the tip, it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I learned more from your feather lesson and design than many others. Thanks
Very nice! I can't wait to finish my next quilt to give it a try.
Awesome way to make feathers! I just might be able to do these...;-)
