Any thoughts on the interference call being overturned during the Texas and Georgia game after the crowd delayed the game by throwing trash on the field?
@@melboyle6125 I don’t really think that it was pass interference to begin with…it was just an interception. The problem is…Texas and its fans were rewarded for throwing trash onto the field. The delay gave the officials time to discuss the call. Texas should have been given the ball back, and a delay of game or unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. The officials can’t reward the fans for throwing trash on the field.
Texas ruined the South West Conference and the Big 12 Conference... good luck South East Conference
Panthers better not beat my Lion’s losing season record. That’d be some BS.
0-17 is realistic
@@BobJBandI agree, but it would still be sad.
@@TheDude-jl1ut So the Panthers have several opportunities to pull out a win this season… v. Raiders on 9-22 v. Bears on 10-6 v. Commanders on 10-20 Giants on 11-10 …and as a lifelong Denver Broncos fan, I’ll include v. Broncos on 10-27. They have the frightening/frustrating ability to play down to an opponents level at times. The game is in Denver, so you may have a better luck with the other four games.
Getting harder every week to see the Panthers winning
@@BobJBandc’mon, have some faith. Panthers have only been outscored 73-13 in the first two games 🤣
LOL quote of the segment: “He’s a UPS truck full of pain” 😂
Any thoughts on rule changes?
Kick it through the end zone
Kick it through the end zone
@@BobJBand I don’t think it increased the number of times teams actually returned the ball any…
Kick off and punt returns are potentially two of the most exciting plays in football. The rule changes should make returns "more likely".
The question is, can Harbaugh win without stealing signs? 😂
lol… Steelers last - exactly. Any bets on how many games Rogers will play this season for the Jets?
Until he tests positive for covid
Hey man, where’s the next installment? USC just did the Big 10 proud!
{facepalm} Detroit, kick the damn ball!
Detroits defense improved in the passing game during the playoffs.
What’s the scorecard, who’s in the lead on picking games?
Chris 4-2 John 3-3
CJ Stroud played at Ohio State. Cold weather ain’t no thing.
Lions/Rams game - ZERO turnovers! Zero!

You guys need to keep track of whose predictions were right. We need a scorecard!
If you're right 52% of the time you're wrong 48% of the time - Jimmy Apollo
It’s Deja vu all over again
Lions baby! They haven’t won a playoff game since something like 1993?
Big 10 football is all about grinding it out on the ground, so don’t let that bit fool you. As much as I’m a big 10 guy, U dub Huskies, with future Bronco Penix at the helm, will be too tough to stop.
Culture beats all. Huskies pretty consistently plays well in the post season and they have an added incentive to smoke Michigan to put them on notice for division games next season.
Congratulations to Michigan...National Champions. Michigan landed massive blows in the 1st qtr. Washington absorbed it, and only trailed by 7 points at halftime. But Washington wasn't quite in sync all night. Michigan over powered, confused, and frustrated Washington for the majority of the game. Michigan takes the trophy home. Congratulations.
@@NothingBeatsRockPodcast Penix Jr was injured just when it looked like he was figuring it out in the second half.
Penix Jr was figuring it out…but the relentless pressure from Michigan’s four man rush, and the added one or two rushers at times…was just too much. Both interceptions were a direct result of the D-line pressure. Plus…the run game was doomed before the game started, injury.
Michigan's O-line and D-line dominated Washington... can't win em all Huskies
THE DUDE ABIDES! That episode really brings the room together.
So, more importantly, Monday night, U Dub Huskies or the Wolverines?

I’m with Steve Jobs on all of those picks. Colts all the way.
Gardner Minshew takes no prisoners 🐎
By the way, I hope you guys maintain the Steve Jobs wardrobe. Dude on the right needs to decide, hat or no hat.
Hey, thanks for watching. You know that old saying...children should be seen, not heard. Haha, it goes something like that...I'm sure you've heard it. Thanks again...like us, subscribe, tell all your friends!
I hate this idea. What the heck are people supposed to argue about at the end of the season? Just kidding. At the end of the season there should be a relegation playoff. The bottom teams should battle bubble teams for the bottom spots.
Paper! 😂
Nothing Beats Rock 👊
Yes you guys are right on. Get rid of the selection committee! Earn it on the field! 🏈
Hey, thanks for watching! College Football would only benefit from a format like this. The top 64 teams would play similar schedules...no more cherry picking a cream puff or two for easy wins. The 16 team playoff format would ease the "life or death" pressure of losing a game, or even two. Win your division, you are in the playoffs! The teams that don't make the playoffs can still participate in bowl games...there's no reason to get rid of those traditions. Keep watching...like and subscribe...Thanks again!
No goalies and no icing in OT sounds great 🎤🎸🥁
Rock on!
Looking forward to the next segment!@@NothingBeatsRockPodcast
Na man, start OT as 5 on 5. No icing. Every minute, pull a guy off until it’s 1v1 with a goalie. I’ve seen this in a youth hockey tournament. It’s epic.
I've seen that format in youth hockey tournaments too...you're right, it's a lot of fun to watch. The NHL OverTime could use a little bit of tweaking...keep the ideas coming. Maybe someone important will see it. Thanks
Follow up Checklist for segment 01. Approximately 23% of NHL regular season games go to OT. Approximately 8% of NHL OT games end in a shootout.
